Nonon Jakuzure - Best Kill la Kill baePretty damn great! #spoke2soonOta "The Cutest Otaku" 2016 - Lol, how's your account doing lately? Oh wait.
I hated having to read this in school. If I had a favorite character, it would have been Mercutio. He was funny with his thumb biting.
My fave chara is Benvolio. =3
On a tangent:
Watching the Romeo x Juliet anime changed my view of the classic Shakespearan Romeo and Juliet story forever.
It. Is. Amazing.
WATCH IT!
I really enjoy this play, I loved having to read it in school. I think Tybalt is the best character, I played him in a school play, the fight between me and Romeo was awesome. The choreography for it was done by me and the guy that played Romeo so there was a bunch of dangerous stuff that took forever to convince the director and producer to let us do.
If you want to see a great Romeo and Juliet movie watch Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet directed by Baz Luhrmann, it's the movie that got me into Shakespeare.
I never play to win. But I do play not to lose.
I enjoy the modern-day movie where Mercutio is a cross-dresser and the line "hand me my long sword, ho!" is met by the passing of a rifle.
The play itself, I enjoyed less. Hamlet or Macbeth is more my thing.
i love Shakespeare
sadly, Romeo and Juliet is like only 5th on my list of favorites.
But my favorite character would be Tybalt, even if he is a minor character... sort of.
If it just tastes sweet
Let's put some salt on it
It is pretty damn emo, that's what it is. Thus proving that Shakespeare was really before his time.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
ohmygosh. I seriously dislike RXJ, because thats all; we studied last year in English. I saw like 2 different movie verisons 4 times each. (Haha @ Romeo's butt XDD)
It's a good story, very tragic, and sad but overall good writing. I can't say its a favorite though.

Ugh I hated reading this. But I really like Mercutio. He was nuts!!!! Lol in a funny way "Do you bite your thumb at us sir?"
"Nay I do not bite my thumb at YOU sir." Lol I love that line in the play. Otherwise it was a snooze fest.
*No Siggy yet!*
I liked studying Skakespeare but, I like Macbeth better then Romeo and Juliet. I found that their was too much love involved. LOL ^^
Every great work of art has two faces, one toward its own time and one toward the future, toward eternity.

Uhm, the saddest and the funniest things are - they both die in the same coffin xD. But yeah, angel_alchemsit9 said so - Macbeth is better. It is more emo and a very interesting play - rather than just love and drama like Romeo & Juliet.

I love Romeo and Juliet. But not for the romance, for the fighting!
I had to do a piece of coursework on R&J last year, once I'd studied it and was able to understand what they were saying I could appreciate it a lot more. Shakespeare knew how to entertain!
My favorite character would have to be Tybalt. He's so pugnacious~! XD (I used that word so many times last year.)
Also, my favorite scene of the play is Act 3 scene 1 I think, the one with the fights between Mercutio and Tybalt- then Tybalt and Romeo.
lolz, you ratcatcher.
Not my favourite story but I loooooove the movie by Baz Luhrmann!! Maybe I'll watch that today...
i dont actually know the story, but i heard of them before!
I hated all of the characters. It had a good ending though.
I like the part where he drops the bomb down the chimney and the whole house underneath the roof explodes. My favourite character was Mr. Bean.
That which is; is the truth.
Sometimes I find it pretty funny like Juliet "dies" and than Romeo killed himself but Juliet became "alive" and she kills herself again...just like Carmen...I find it a bit weird though...I prefer Phantom of the Opera over this....yup..
OUR TEACHER LET US WATCH THE CLASSIC ROMEO AND JULIET MOVIE*(have to say this:I'm in a girls' school)AND AFTER THEY ..... JULIET FACED THE FRONT WITHOUT HER CLOTHES ON...IT'S LIKE OMG?
Lol...I'm Back!FYI:Shana FTW!:3
I had to force myself to read that book in school. It's not something I'd want to pick up and read for fun.
I did like Mercutio though...
Made by: Vagary. Meh baka buddy <3

well,if you wonna know my story,we played it in school, the worst part is that i got romeo's part, yuk!!!!!!!!!!!my teacher was kind so he gave juliet's part to a boy instead of a girl,i had to kiss him!!!!!!!!!yuk!yuk!i was so nervous, well he cheated*winks*he kissed me on the cheek pretending to kiss me on the lips.
even if i had to play romeo's part, still my favourite character is mercutio.
Lovely set made by the awesome Arxia! Thanks so much girl!♥♥♥
Me too. I get sad when people don't enjoy it because Shakespeare wrote some of the best story lines in the world, and the most dark and gory. I'd love to see a major movie production of Macbeth right about now. It'd be immense if they got the right director on it.
King Lear would be a good one too, though that one would be harder to make into a mainstream film.
Baz Lurhman (even if I spelt his name wrong) is amazing. Gotta love Romeo and Juliet. And I don't really know who my favourite is.
"I mean, yeah, you are pretty cute. You sneeze like a rabbit. What's not to like?"
Thank you YukiOnna ^-^
You were intended to like Mercutio and hate Tybalt.
It's too bad Mercutio was too dead to guide Romeo while exiled. He could have told Romeo to look for another girl again, ROFL. That's how you do it, brah.
