Do You Have Low-Self Esteem?

How much do you think you have low self esteem?
Or do you consider yourself worthless and useless to those around you?

I do.

And my low-self esteem is LOW.
But it doesn't stop me from making friends and helping people out with thier problems in fact...I give out Advice to those that are in Family/Relationship/School problems all the time. Ignoring my needs and helping them first.

Anyone wants to ask a question shoot right ahead And I'll do my best to help

Errr...Only at times my self-esteem would be low. I guess when I have too much pressure to look good for school or about my drawings...My drawings are one of the main reasons I'm at a down mood at times.

O_o; You should talk things out with a buddy on your probs. I mean its not right to bottle it all up. Being considerate is nice, but don't give yourself less credit than what you are. You deserve others to help you too, I mean everyone else has the same rights.

Well.. I don't really have a low self esteem, I'm just kinda quiet in rl, so I don't talk much. People think I have a low self esteem, but I don't, I actually have alot of confidence in myself.

Hmmm thats kinda a tough question, like Raiken, i am a naturally quiet person and keep to myself, and although i do doubt myself alot i think everyone does sometimes.

I'd have to say that I have really low self esteem at times, but it's been getting better. I don't doubt myself as much now. And I don't feel worthless anymore.

There's not that much wrong with being emo. But low self-esteem seems to be a problem in teens. Especially with all the popular and so-called perfect people who judge the less popular person's every decision and move.

I agree with InsaneYuuki, it's other people pushing you that often causes low-self esteem, peer pressure n all that.

I dont think i have low self esteem, sometimes i feel a bit worthless cause im still trying to figure out what im good at. But other than that.. im great lol, i talk to people i like how i look i like how i think so yea im good with the way i am.

My self esteem is epic. In fact, when people see my self esteem, they often confuse it with the moon of Alderaan, and then with the death star, and then they realize it's my self esteem. I feel there is nothing I can't succeed in, which is the primary reason I always succeed in everything.

well, i do have a low self - esteem, don't know why but since i was little that i am like this, and yes i help others and forget about myself. for me it's kind of normal..

i have a really low self esteem, which isnt helped by the fact i have a slight tendency to fail in pretty much everything i do except gaming

eerr... I'm of those women that have a huge... really HUGE self-esteem.
I love and care about myself more than anyone else. If I'm not ok with myself then I won't be OK at all...

so why having such a los self-esteen? just learn to live with yourself! you all are beautiful and worth more than you can imagine ^_^

Indeed. What the heck does it matter if you make a fool out of yourself every now and then? It's not like it's going to matter: You and everyone around you will be a skeleton in the ground 100 years from now.

I would say I have "in the middle" self esteem: not very high and not very low. Anotherwards, balanced, but it could be better.

Of course, I also have a decent amount of self-respect, which is also important.

Furthermore, many people have misconceptions of what 'self-esteem' really is -- it doesn't come from your appearance first and foremost, but rather yourself and who you see yourself as. Of course, how you look influences how you feel about yourself, so appearance can add to it, but is not the sole cause of your self esteem. Self-esteem is really how you feel about yourself. You really cannot look at someone and tell what kind of self-esteem they have, unless you know them personally.

I don't believe in "high" self esteem, but rather 'healthy' self-esteem. Anything else encourages unbalanced amounts of narcissism.

I don't have low self esteem. I think I am wonderful and fun to be around. Strangers some times hug me. <---I'm not joking, it really happened once.

I have a high self-esteem. And I'm pretty confident. I'm not cocky. I'm just happy with who I am inside and outside. I don't have time to worry about how I look to other people. When someone says something nasty about me it hardly effects me. Sure, I sometimes have off days where I don't feel too confident in myself, but we all do.

Maybe I'm not sure... but for me is always good...because whenever I feel like "I won't be able to do this", "I suck at this sport", that kind of feelings, make me better because I do my best until I became good at it, like train very hard or try to be prepared for anything, I know that with hardwork you can always do whatever you want...
