Did any video game dissapoint you?

Well since I made an anime version of this, I'll make a video game version as well. The question is, were you pumped up about playing a game, thinking it was going to be a great gaming experience, then it turns out to be worse than expected?

KH2 dissapointed me greatly...it just wasnt as good as the first one

shadow of the empire for the N64 I thought it would be cool because it was a star wars game and it sucked.

Spider-Man 2 for the PC. Aside from one level and one boss battle, the game was a total mockery of the wonderful sandbox console titles.

I can understand Mercs 2. But please elaborate on GTA4, that is one of my fav games ever. Many even say it's the best GTA. What did you expect?

-Super Smash Bros. Brawl (great game, but it's pretty much the same thing as melee. )
-Resident evil 0 was upsetting.
-Halo 2. The first and third were great. Halo 2 was awful.

GTA IV
- Hated the driving controls
-Removed a lot of what made San Andreas awesome; like jet packs airplanes and the chainsaw.
-Can't car surf
-Shorter storyline than other GTA games

- 4 player co-op downgraded to 2 player
-Delayed forever and didn't deliver on my hype for it.

Mainly, the whole point of GTA games were to be almost inhuman and kill and kill and when you hit a car, it was the car that got wrecked, not you.GTA4 took the poo pie w/ that one.

Way of the Samurai 2.

LOVED the first one. Then some other company went about creating a sequel, and it completely killed the whole WotS experience for me. It's been years, and I still can't even play the first one without thinking what a complete trainwreck the second one was.

The disappointment surrounding it still literally makes me want to punch children in the face.

GTA 4 - they took out all the fun elements of it, resulting in it being too serious, which is not like GTA
Army of two - it was just way too short to be worth the price

Lost oddesy dissapointed me, i'm a huge Square enix fan and when i saw the reviews for the game they looked really good, but when it came to playing it.....well it was really hard to get into, and the story was lax, so yeah...didn't like that one!

Well, as well all know, the original Mario Cart is simply an epic game.

Consequently, I was incredibly excited for the release of Double Dash. I though, maybe, just maybe, it would be as awesome as the original. But, alas, it was not nearly as good as I would have hoped. It really can't even be compared to its predecessor.

The Wii release is, in my opinion, horribad. I have given up on Mario Cart, but I still love and cherish the original <3

The latest title that disappointed me was Mercenaries 2.
It was simply not as good as I thought it would be and had a bunch of bugs, glitches, bad AI.
It was overall just an unfinished game.

The camera worked against me the whole time.I would turn, but the movement was very unresponsive.Luckily my friend was screwed not I.

Most recent that I bought was Infinite Undiscovery, doesn't live up to expectations at all, another mediocre RPG.

The firt Bleach game for the Wii. It was such a dissapointment I don't even remeber the name. I very well hated it, I still have it up stairs I got on Christamas day last year. Played it once, and never played it again. I shall sell it on Ebay!! ^^'

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Yeah...I liked it and all but I didn't like it as much as I originally thought I would when they announced it. Materia fusion? Repetitive missions? I wish SquaEni would tell me what the hell's so wrong with turn-based because they seem to be abandoning it in a lot of the crap they're pumping out these days.
Also, Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. It totally threw me for a loop when I read old english instead of the way they normally talked. Not a bad thing but not what I was use to.

Neverwinter Nights 2 was quite a disappointment.

While the base mechanics were good, the big push for Christmas release thanks to executive meddling caused the game to be unfinished and heavily bugged, with many of the (mostly evil character oriented) elements cut out and shoehorned your character in the main campaign.

Furthermore the toolset was nowhere near as accessible as the one in the first game. Actually, Neverwinter Nights was a better game all round, except for the graphics and party interfaces.

Just finished Fable 2. Overall it's a really good game, but it did fall short of my expectations. The main storyline was hardly even 5 hours long, and the story was nowhere near as strong or interesting as the first Fable. Plus the final boss was just massively dissapointing. I hope Fable 3 will have a better and longer story.

Dynasty warriors 6, they changed everything in it, and whats with this "renbu" or whatever thing, it makes it to where your attacks never stop like they did in the previous games, that just makes the game too easy....although the graphics are stunning, they just need to work on the gameplay a little bit more....2 out of 5...very disappointing
