Why such the avatar?

To use an avatar, you probally need to like it.. but, why are you using that exact avatar? Are you planning on keeping it for a long time, or planning on changing it very soon.

For me - I actually change my avatar quite often, I'm using Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 4 because of I'm in a Resident Evil 4 mood.

When I choose this particular avatar, it was simply because I was in that kind of mood. A mad, Wonderland-y kind of mood.

I might change it sometime soon.

I don't stick with the same avatar for very long. I sometimes change it very constantly.

For now, Neo-chan made me this avatar and I'm sticking with it for now.

Mine is Takeya Ikuhara of DearS, and I picked it because I was watching DearS at the time. I plan on keeping it for a while because his expression is pretty fit for the kind of deep thinking (deep) I do here and it may be help my reputation if I have a consistent image to associate with me

I just got bored of my Oldboy avatar and switched to VGcats. I'm too lazy to switch again, though.

Once my avatar gets really old, like after several months, I may change it. Though it's rare that I keep track XD I'm using this one because I'm an epic Okami fan^^

I'm pretty happy with my avatar. Anybody who has seen Legend of the Galactic Heroes will realize how.. unusual this scenario is.

I'll probably keep it for a while unless I have a sudden fandom attack of some form. That or until I find an awesome yet just gory enough to allow the mods to give me a pass Zombie avatar.

I'm planning on changing it soon. I'm only using my current one now because I like what is says. I'm planning on changing back to the avatar Miss Independent made for me. I don't change it as often as I used to though.

I use my avatar because I like what it says: ka-wa-ii!!! And it's Fruits Basket ^^ Maybe in the future I'll change it to a Vampire Knight or Shugo Chara avatar. Not sure really I like cute happy avatars ^^

I started out with my old "HA HA I'm using the internets!" avatar with fire in the background. Which is disturbing on it's own, but I figured it could become more disturbing yet if I altered it.
