What would AF do...

What would AF do if you just stopped logging on? If one day you just decided not to log on (for a long time and you didn't say you're doing this) do you think AF would notice? Have you meet people from AF in real life and they'd try to contact you? Or would you simply fade away and no one would notice?

(this popped into my head at like 1am sorry if it doesn't make sense)

I doubt anyone would notice if I left AF. I don't think I'm the type of member that gets noticed. Maybe if I acted more silly or something like that, I would stand out more. Seriously, I doubt anyone on here even knows who I am.

Of course they would, the same way white trash house wives would notice if Jerry Springer decided not to show up at the TV studio. There would be an outrage! They would scour the interwebs, searching every wiki,

I gotta come clean and admit that I was lying when I posted this. And I don't mean I was lying down when I posted. I was not being honest. There are people who would totally notice if I left. Myself included.

Well, I've never felt like not logging onto AF, but if I didn't for other reasons, people would just shrug it off and move on. That's what I do when people leave. Then they would just fade away in our memory.

No wai! Seriously though, with all the crazy threads you make (some of them crazy enough to be straight out of Eris' tome o' threadmanship), it would be strange if people didn't notice you vanishing off the face of AF.

I leave AF for varying periods of time simply because I get bored of it. The site doesn't collapse. Don't worry.

A couple people would prolly notice but since I'm not exactly an AF celebrity, I'd only expect to get... maybe 4 or 5 pms from people when I returned o__O;

I don't know. Maybe. But the only reason I'd leave is because AF got boring, and if AF got boring that means that I wouldn't be the only one who left. So I probably wouldn't get noticed.

I can only answer your first question. It doesn't matter if you stay away from AF for a long time, at least that's what I think. I have close friends I met from years ago here on AF had stopped posting for more than a year, but they do come back to post sometimes. So once you're a member, you are always welcome, as long as you don't get in trouble.
