I don't think people here would care or do anything if i left. And to be honest, i like it that way just fine. Why do i want to be remembered for being popular? Being popular with other people was never my goal. I couldn't care less about it. The internet to me is an extension of the real world. Another place on which to expierence it. Popularity means nothing to me. It bores me to be honest.

That's why I mentioned the internet is another real world that we can't see the truths we want to see, and yes, such like how that person away from you feel, that's one of the "truths" I was mentioning about.

Infamous impact doesn't make a person not being noticed. I've seen many members that were here causing troubles and such, they were hated. Now that's what I would call infamous. But when they are gone, people would think about throwing a party. It depends on how known you are, that's what I think personally.

It was the fact that I was so infamous that I am, somewhat, well-known. After I got myself noticed from being a foolish user I started to try and change my appearance into something more connected with my real personality as opposed to acting the way I did.

I have to admit though, I seperated myself from other infamous users, by being hated by many, yet having a high positive reputation count.

Also Kaji you're not really infamous, infamy would be gained by generally being hated, or having a bad reputation, but we only think of you as a weird hentai obsessed guy. Your other account (Amray?) might of been infamous, maybe...but I still have no idea why you were banned must of not been too bad since your IP wasn't banned. well, I have been away from AF for such a while that no one noticed lol. AF will always be AF, no matter how much ppl leave or been away. It'll still be a fun and loving community forum.

What would AF do if you just stopped logging on? If one day you just decided not to log on (for a long time and you didn't say you're doing this) do you think AF would notice? Have you meet people from AF in real life and they'd try to contact you? Or would you simply fade away and no one would notice?

hmm....most likely the "Fade away and noone would notice" part dont have any "Friends" here, i just randomly appear in conversations, say whatever, and then disappear - all "ninja like "

One, this is a big site. Two, I don't think a lot of people much value "internet" friends as much as they say they do. It is a social bond thing, real social bonding in person makes for stronger bonds than trading text.

Well, I guess you can say that people DO notice someone is gone if that person has been a special member such like a troublemaker, or post pretty often. I'm pretty sure people would notice that person is gone, because of that member being well known. However, does people "care" is what you want to ask. Notice and care are two different things. You can say "oh that person that post a lot is gone now...but I don't care". Would that make more sense? =]
