It's on now. In retrospect, Root Beer Float and popcorn were an awesome choice. Much better then the other debates.
Obama is still doing better IMHO.

We've been having constant discussion and play-by-play in chat.
I'd say Obama is again the winner in this one, though not by as much as in the 2nd debate, and neither was really impressive.

Am I crazy, or does McCain think Palin's kid has Autism and not Down Syndrome?

McCain thinks a lot of wrong things about Palin. He said that she's a "role model for women", and that "she has united Americans". The second one is correct, if you consider that we've united to make cheap jokes at her expense.
I'm kind of disappointed that Obama didn't smash McCain down when he brought up Bill Ayers. It was such an easy opening. But, that is the "old politics" Obama has talked about, which I suppose him passing up that chance was a good thing.

CNN and CBS say Obama won. Three in a row, so good times.
Also, CNN and Fox Noise's focus groups only decided towards Obama, although not by a huge factor.

I'm saying that of the people in Fox's control group, only 4 (3?) said they made up their mind, and all towards Obama. It was a really quick blurb though, possibly because of how the same guy spun the pro-Obama results last time.
Also, odd fact, the 2nd debate's Fox Noise poll was sponsored by Budweiser, and McCain's wife's family is a huge distributor of their product.

I get all my info from the daily show and the colbert report.
They're actually a lot more competent than real news, THEY PROVE THEM WRONG EVERY NIGHT.
Last night on TDS they showed a clip of some speech analyzer saying,
"Not the usual stump speech from McCain"
Then proceeded to show a dozen clips emphasizing that McCain said exactly the same thing at the RNC.
The people who watch Fox News are loyal republicans that don't really vote in the other polls. Fox News isn't making up numbers, that's what their audience is like.
PBS kinda annoyed me. I was surprised that I didn't hear an "I am Obama and I approve of this message" after the PBS commentary.
The problem with McCain is that he's trying to beat Obama at being a liberal, which is impossible. As a conservative, I won't vote for him.
Looking at the actual numbers again, McCain's CNN poll was even worse then you'd think. 58% said Obama won, and 31% said McCain. The interesting part is that 50% were Democrats, but 40% were Republican (remaining 10% undecided). So, as 40% can be assumed to be biased towards McCain, his failure is pretty awful. And, since only 50% can be assumed biased towards Obama, 8% or more of the people who thought Obama won would have to be Independent or Republican.
Just goes to show, trying to attack the other guy personally after he makes a big point about how we should stick to the issues is probably a bad idea.
