Does anyone still play board games??

Both me and Fabala enjoy playing Zombies!!!. Its dark humor and violence and ability to be a total jerk make it an absolute riot.

When we get more time maybe we'll get on to playing its follow up game Humans!!!. Where you get to play AS Zombies. That and have a go at the 3rd Expansion for a fun Dawn of the Dead style mall experience.

I don't have any board games at home to play, but if I could play some with my friends then why not? They're pretty fun sometimes. Just if you play them too often it might get boring.

Aaah good ole Bloodbowl and Talisman. Games Workshop games are great, except for the price. I am itching to get another go at Necromunda but I can't find a group who plays it. The only ones I know of in Sydney take it as serious business. I don't want anything to do with that.

No, you want to have all the fun you can with those games. The Bloodbowl my friends and I play is about 20 years old. The Talisman is a good 15 years old, so they have more than paid for themselves. I'd hate to have to buy them today though....

Aw it's been forever since I played any board games. I think the last one I played was either Scattergories or Pictonary (i think that's how it's spelled). But some board games I played all the time when I was a kid.

I remember Don't Wake Daddy and Operation were scary. I got so nervous and if the game buzzed or I woke Daddy I would jump and scream. I also remember getting Mouse Trap but never played it. I always set it up just to let it go off.

I don't really have anyone to play board games with, but I still love them just the same. I believe that they're more fun than console party games like Mario Party. *sigh* *shrinks back into the closet rolling dice*

P.S. I also forgot about BattleShip!! I love it when someone sinks one of mine I get to shout "YOU SUNK MAH BATTLESHIP!!" Good times...I think I've got to go get it now.

My friends and I still play Monopoly once in a while. But usually the boys get into some sort of fight, then we end the game without really finishing it >_>.

I miss Scrabble though, I loved that game.
