There are several sites that claim that remakes for ds is currently in the works. However, nothing official has been stated from Nintendo so pretty much they're rumors at this point.

I remember hearing years ago that Nintendo had remakes on the way. They were to be called Pokemon: Golden Sun and Pokemon: Silver Moon. Keep in mind this was back in 2005 and most likely a hoax, but it is nice to dream. FR and LG really brought back some good ol' memories and I'd like to feel the same with GSC. Ah well...

Well I have heard rumors about remakes of this game, so far all I heard is rumors though, so I don't know 100% if they will, its possible, and I wish they would remake the games.

That would be interesting if they remade the Gold, Silver or Crystal versions of Pokemon. I've never heard of it happening though, sooo...this is news to me.

I'm not sure if I'd actually go out and buy the games IF they were ever to be released..since I'm too old for Pokemon. <_<;

Anyway, I would be much happy if they remade Gold and Silver, though the remake probably won't touch me like the originals did.

that would be pretty cool but if they do make pokemon gold & silver again then they have to remake red and blue just cause they were the best
