Name: Jean “T-Boy” Soileau (Pronounced: zh-ON “tee-BOI” SWA-low)
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Cajun. Though Cajuns are normally short, Jean is even shorter then the norm (5’4”), with a stocky barrel like build from enjoying his own cooking and years of physical labor. Even with the extra weight, his movements are smooth and powerful, showing a surprising amount of grace. He has short dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and a broad flashing smile, speaking at a rapid clip with very expressive hand and body language. His accent shifts from barely there to strong Cajun English, sometimes slipping completely into Cajun French. He mostly dresses in loose and comfortable shirts, baggy jeans, and very scuffed running shoes. His hands (and feet, elbows, and knees) show a great deal of callus, though the rest of his body completely lacks any scars or minor disfigurements.
Alter Persona Appearance: Still short, but the stocky build melts away till he is nothing but skin, bone, and extremely ripped muscle. Every muscle in his body stands out in stark relief, clearly visible through skin that seems paper thin, with the veins rippling and shifting slight just under the surface. His features take on the look of someone who hasn’t been eating enough for the last few months, with glossy eyes and a just recovered from sickness blue/white paler to his skin. He seems jumpy, his hands often making movements like they just can’t stay still while his core body remains completely motionless.
Alter Persona Abilities: Possesses an extremely hyper metabolism which lets him heal damage almost as fast as it can be inflicted, respond at incredible speed to changes around him, and boost his Parkour skills to superhuman levels. His mind is also beginning to improve, though the development of powers there are limited by his lack of a teacher.

- Hyper Strength: 5 (Lift 800~1000lbs, hit harder, jump further, throw further, hit 'hard' materials without damage)
- Hyper Tough: 5 (Increases maximum damage sustainable)
Hyper Mind
- Empathic Link: 5 (Project and receive emotions from linked person, regardless of distance. Can tell direction/distance by link. Links: Miria)
- Combat Sense: 5 (Instinctive sense about area, detecting potential threats. Resist surprise and aids in defense)
Combat: 18 (Capoeira and Parkour)
- Firearms: 5
Development Plans:
Continue to improve current powers (Combat +, Firearms +, Hyper Tough +, Hyper Strength +)
Hyper Mind - Empathic Sense: 5 (Sense peoples emotions around him)
Personality: Loud, expressive, and friendly. He is very physical; touching people he is talking to, hugging and kissing friends, and generally getting inside people's personal bubble. Despite this, he is very hard to dislike, with a manner that causes people to smile and laugh with him. He likes spending time with people, cooking, talking, and drinking. Chances are, within ten minutes of meeting him you’ll be invited to supper or over to share some home-made wine.
He also possesses a very warped (well, normal for a Cajun) sense of humor. Hobbies include watching MMA & movies, classic cars, classic dancing, and of course, cooking. He doesn't like most sports, but will watch football with friends. He hates it when people ask him about life in the swamp (The Cajun area of Louisiana only has one ‘man-made’ swamp).
BIO: Born in the little town of Ville Platte, Louisiana in 1990, Jean grew up working the farm. He learned all about life on the bayou; hunting, fishing, camping, and cooking. He also learned how to handle cattle, ride a horse, and fix farm equipment.
His father taught him how to hunt. He always did enjoy going out with his old man, as well as with his friends, to hunt rabbit and deer. All his time hunting, combined with his time in the Boy Scouts (Troop 85, sponsored by the local Knights of Columbus) have made him very comfortable in the wilds and able to survive with little gear for extended periods of time.
Like any good Cajun, he learned to cook as soon as he could stand on something and see the top of the stove. Cooking is sort of a hobby for him, even more then normal for a Cajun. Food is a way of life for Cajuns and Jean wholeheartedly accepts it.
He went to school at Sacred Heart, a private Catholic school. Like any good Cajun he was brought up Catholic. In addition, he learned what he could of Greegree, a uniquely Cajun form of traditional magic.
At the age of 6, he saw “Jump London” and was fascinated by Parkour. He convinced his parents to enroll him in gymnastics (at “Dance & Gymnastics Inc”) and practiced excessively to perform the amazing stunts from the film. He didn’t have many buildings near his home, but he sure did run up a lot of trees and barns. Broke a few bones, but that never stopped him for long. If possible, he never lets a chance to 'practice' on a larger building pass.
After a few years in gymnastics, at the age of 9, old man Williams began teaching him Capoeira. Old man Williams was a retired gentleman from Brazil, who rented 10 acres from his father and was living on his retirement and his big garden. He provided the old man with company and relieved the loneliness of his last years after the death of his wife. Jean studied and practiced with him till he died three years ago.
Jean developed a passion for old cars from his family. His dad owns a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner, with his uncles owning a 1956 Corvette, a 1967 Shelby GT500, and a 1968 Dodge Charger. His grandfather owned a 1947 Ford Super Deluxe convertible that he bought when he came back from the War and owned till his death in 1995, after which the car just sat for the next 4 years in his grandmother's garage.
He asked her for it at 14 and spent any time he wasn't working or training (and most of his money) on restoring it with the help of his dad, finishing up shorting before getting his drivers license. The old Flathead V8 was replaced with a 1994 French Army Aluminum one, then bored, stroked, and built. Packing an ISKY Max cam, Edelbrock heads with EFI, and a heavily inter-cooled Eaton TVS R2300 supercharger, the car is a screamer. A built Ford Cobra 6-speed feeding some extra wide drag radials is used to put the power to the road.
All the chrome and leather was restored. The car was painted a gleaming metallic black, with off black holographic skulls and flames along the sides. The car is his most prized possession, a link to his grandfather.
All the money for his car had to come from somewhere. A large chunk of it came from doing odd jobs for Mr. Thibaudeau, who his father always disliked. As he got older, he started doing varies running and transportation jobs for Mr. Thibaudeau, and through him the local Cajun Mafia (What! You didn't know the Cajuns had a Mob?!).
He wasn't interested in drugs or crime, just the thrill of running and the money. It all came back to almost kill him one night when the police raided a Mob businesses he was making a pickup at. He was shot while getting out of the building and barely made it back to his car, much less the drive home. As he was healing, his dad decided it was time to get him out of the area and hunted around for a place to send him.
Since Jean had just graduated high school, college sounded like a good idea, and so he was shipped off to Kapok Bay shortly after healing up. He arrived a few weeks ago and rented a small two bedroom house, then spent the time since unpacking, going to class, and trying to find a part time job.
Person you know already: Jean has only been on the island a few week. The only people he knows are from his classes, the classic car scene, and shifters.
Other: Jean believes in Greegree, which has a strong subculture in the Cajun heartland. This will cause him to defer to healers and spirit workers (as long as he believes them to be good). He does have some Greegree charms from his grandmother that he believes help keep him safe, including a hand carved wooden amulet he wears all the time. He speaks three languages, but for two of them (Cajun English and Cajun French) it is unlikely he will encounter any who speaks. American English is not his native language.
Notes: Cajun culture is totally different for almost any other in existence (except for Louisiana Creole and Arcadian), so he will often act and think in ways that others find very strange. All places, schools, businesses, etc in his background actually exist (Google them if you want).
