It depends, if I am shopping with my mum she will buy them.
When I am shopping on my own I will buy them. Mum doesn't come shopping with me often though. So most of my clothes are bought with my own money.

Back in high school my parents would buy clothes. They liked that I was wearing "nice" clothes and I was willing to humor them if it meant I didn't have to spend money.

I only really buy clothes when the old ones break from wear and tear. Which takes about a year. Though I wear out shoes at an alarming rate. It usually takes about three months for me to turn a pair of good new shoes into such a state of disrepair they're no longer wearable. But then, I walk a lot, so that's to be expected, since I don't buy army marching boots but cheap sneakers.
