    ^^Too true.

The people who say video games rot your brain, are also the people that say GTA inspires violence. They don't know anything. GTA doesn't inspire violence, the people already have the violence in their heads. Just like with video games rotting your mind. The video games don't do it, the people are just that stupid ahead of time, and video games is a convenient scape goat.

No, most games make you think, if not then they make you react faster, if not then they make you draw maps and plans in your head and so on (except a very small number of "things" I wouldn't even dare call video games) however, on the contrary, anything that exceeds it's limits will give a negative effect, for example if you play a certain game 6 or 7 hours a day then it's surely affecting your brain and your health in a bad way.

Like a few people stated, it depends on the games.

I, however, play a lot of games with lots of dialog. You can say that I learned most of my logic from Video Games, which is true. People always think I'm stupid because I play a lot of games, and yet I know more about stuff then they do. Makes sense, eh? Funny thing that it's also the type of people that say that don't play games at all, or only play FPS games.

I've been learning a lot of stuff on Persona 3 and 4. ;D Mainly because of the questions they ask you during the class sessions.

Games don't really rot your brain and never do, but they can in fact make you lose track of time since you get absorbed in it. Hence why some of us end up procrastinating in the end. It happens a lot, but oh well.

If anything they hey rot your "Life" (but only if you let them.) I'd say they're probably good for your brain, when played in moderation.

Total lie, Age of Empires 2 helped me pass my 7th grade history class.
Lawl, Joan or Arc ftw! >D

Actually, come to think of it, the only reason I know anything about Joan of Arc is because I played AoE2, I never learned anything about it at failschool.
Inhale the light. Relax for some time,
The world outside stays numb tonight.
Free your mind, express the forgotten..
The world inside is yours tonight.
