I'm not all too good at making introductions short and to the point, so i'll try to do my best.
Hi, my name's Dave; I've been part of a different anime community for quite some years, but decided it was time to move on to one that catered to a different type of audience, primarily something more family-oriented; and it turned out this place seemed to fit the bill rather nicely in terms of family content.
Consequently i can't disclose which community I'm from - but i can tell you that I'm in a constant look-out for anime-styled MMO's, and my last community just did not carry any optimism in those types of games, which was surprising.. but i guess in a grander scheme of things, it wasn't.
Any-who I'm a bit off a goof, my humor can be a bit random but i feel it's not annoyingly random - it that makes any sense, i like to express my jokes pictorially when the chance arises (Not to worry, you won't see any Motivationals from /b/ or 4chan unless I'm told other-wise, haha)
I'm also an artist, mostly pen&ink; years ago i drew in the big-eyed sailor-moon style, now my style has become a bit more realistic and defined; it's also sort of leaning into the Korean style a bit thanks to Hyung-Tae Kim's stunning artwork that i always find myself drooling over.
Lately I've been re-working on a long-running theme I've installed in my artwork that involves mostly light bondage and wires, nothing too inappropriate, but i do have some pieces definitely not suitable for children, my favorite artist of all time and has been a very big impact in my artwork is without a doubt; Masamune Shirow, I'm sure many people are familiar with that name, heh heh heh..
I also do some image editing in photoshopCs but nothing that would be considered highly impressive as i try to stick to my drawing/inking rather then trying to refine that instead; and having a full-time job outside of any type of life i might try to have, (haha what a joke) my time is limited as it is.
I won't delve too much into any of my anime interests, but i will say that I've fallen out of any circles that would define me as an "up-to-date otaku" (if their is such a thing, haha) I do have a style and period preference, but with what little time i have to even watch anime, i usually find myself leaping into romance/drama genre's
Well i guess that's all i should probably say for now, nice meeting you all; thanks in advance for the welcome.
