Not MOST glitchy, but Capcom vs. SNK Cardfighters Clash DS had one fatal, inescapable glitch in the first release.

Partway through the game, there's a kid who, in part one, crashes the game after beating him in the storyline. In part two, you HAVE to talk to him to advance. He still crashes the game.

    The Elder Scroll games.
In the newest game Oblivion I got stuck between a rock and a bridge and couldn't get out. I thought of loading the game where I wasn't stuck, but it loaded to the rock and I had two saved games with a dude stuck in a rock and I could never get my character out between the rock and the bridge.
I had to delete my saved game and I almost beat it as well.
Also in the newest game my horse got stuck in a tree and was actually walking in the middle of the tree. I could even mound on it while being stuck in a tree.

In Elder Scrolls, Morrowind I always got stuck between rocks or melted through walls.

Wedding is in October. And I'm going to be a dad. Super excited.

Umm, if you have the PC versions of either game, you could have just teleported out (meaning via the cheat console, although Recall/Interventions are possible in Morrowind too). I played Oblivion 150+ hours and Morrowind 18.5 billion and I never got stuck anywhere I wasn't able to escape via conventional means.
Ehhh, I dunno if I'll stick around. We'll see.

    I play the console version.
And I don't have Xbox live or any means to hook up to my computer.
I've played Elder scrolls for a lot of hours as well.

the most glitchy game I have played? Alone In The Dark on the 360, getting stuck in walls, falling thorugh the floor or my favourite, driving and hitting, and I **** you not, a pebble and then proceed to rocket off into the stratosphere of blue hell.

i'm guessing there was no Q&A testing on that title.

    still completed it eventually >_>

I'd have to say The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask or Ocarina of time. Of course, Mario 64 can be quite glitchy too. It's been a while since i've played games, anyway, but I remember those two clearly.

Thumbs down You guys are all wrong by far..

Gears of War has the most glitches that I have ever seen.. Mostly EVERY single map has a glitch you can do, not to mention the glitches you can do with the characters to cheat, and SO MANY other ones, no joke you guys are far off, check out Gears of War and count how many glitches there are..

Here's my three lists on the most gaming glitches ever that is current:

Star Wars: TFU (The Force Unleashed). Even though the game is based on LucasArts' proprietary "Ronin" game engine but also integrates third-party technology: Havok for rigid body physics, Pixelux Entertainment's "Digital Molecular Matter" (DMM) for dynamically destructible objects, and NaturalMotion's Euphoria for realistic non-player character artificial intelligence. LucasArts' programmers had to overcome technical hurdles to get Havok-, DMM- and Euphoria-coded components to interact.Developers also had to strike a balance between realistic and entertaining physics! But some objects that were dynamically "destructible" didn't go as planned with the DMM physics, some tree's, buildings, or other Misc stuff that you used in the force unleashed game didn't occur with it's action. The AI based "rag-doll" physics, was a good idea by Euphoria physics, although in most sequences it never happened to me before. You could just kill an AT-AT with lightening and rapidatly overtapping a certain button, and it was kinda boring.

Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway The great Unreal Engine III was a success again but the review was bad, the grain feature towards each shadow just appeared when contact, the AI gets boring and doesn't flank while you shoot making it seem unrealstic, the drama within this game is okay, but it's kinda predictable.

Gears of War Submitted by the owner Cliffy B, and the gaming engine Unreal Engine, was successful in it's beginning franchise around the whole game, the cut-secnes were good and very entertaining. However, Gears of War allows two players to play through the game from start to finish. The game offers the ability to invite players on the user's friends list and have them instantly pop in (known as "Drop in, Drop out" gameplay) the player’s game to help them out. The game chooses each player's character depending on certain factors. The first player or multiplayer game host plays as Marcus Fenix (the main character) while the second player as Dominic Santiago, Marcus' best friend. Then later, the whole system freezes sometimes. So it's not that entertaining, Multiplayer is fun as well, although people can just glitch in rank system mode and can kill you instantly with a sniper, or a torque bow.

And that's about the games that are kinda glitchy but fun at the same time, I overall though love these games, but it's spefically for me it's the game-play.

Jurassic Park: Trespasser in it's first batch was pretty godawful with bugs and crashing, or so I've been told. Also, your arm is a noodle. And the game lets you shoot yourself.

Most glitched game I've played is E.T. for the Atari 2600. Ok that is a lie, the most glitched game I've played is probabily Oblivion, though it isn't as bad as E.T.

my vote would go towards Crysis though. put me at any position in that game, and i can garuntee you that i will be able to break it to the point that you cannot play it until you restart the level (dying and respawning wont help lol)

very first 5 minutes of a game are supposed to be the most beautiful and finely tuned parts of the entire game... first time i played it, i used Ultimate Speed and boosted up a rock on the beach, over the cliff wall and through a crack in the blocking volumes, then continued to fall through the ground.

there's also a HUGE rock on that beach that looks like it wasn't rotated correctly when it was placed there... you can see a huge dark corner where the texturing doesnt tile across.

i also blew up a helicopter by shooting the tail with the pistol (not supposed to be possible)... and it landed upside down. but that's not supposed to be possible, so it kept trying to flip over so it's sitting upright, but it never could, so it kept bouncing across the ground for like 15 minutes, making the most annoying racket ever.

those are just a couple of the most bizarre ones... i've destroyed that game with the amounts of bugs/exploits i've found in it.
Crysis indeed. Crysis has so many glitches. Forget the graphics, it's the glitches you should be worried about.

Also Halo 2 had some weird glitches. Like that shield tank glitch in the campaign level "Delta Halo" where you blast the shields, park your tank over it, and watch it fly. Also the way you can fly without a banshee, those are strange glitches.

Crysis was pretty rough. Some of the creatures you'd fight would totally freeze on the screen and nothing would kill them. But sadfully the story woudln't advance without them being killed. I had this one repeatidly.

    • All my RPG shots at him.
    • A full belt of mingun ammo at him.
    • All my shotgun ammo at him.
    • All my assault rifle ammo at him (regular and incendiary).
    • All my pistol ammo at him.

    • All my grenades at him.
    • All my explosive charge ammo at him (I speeded up to him, threw satchels at him and set them off).

Finally, I walked up to him stealthed (he was firing at me with a mingun), and picked him up with strength, and threw him to kingdom come.

But that was the only time that happened. Most of my glitches in that game revolved around getting stuck between rocks or under falling debris.

Yeah but most of them have to be performed a certain way using very exact button combinations. coughGridlockSkydivingcough But otherwise, until I actually tried to recreate one that I heard about, I'd never encountered them in-game before.

Okay, well I'm sure it's not realistic to have melee weapons do damage to you every time you bump into something, like the cattleprod that'll kill you if you try and push open a door. And I'm sure the realistic way to handle this isn't to just to make every melee weapon except three do no damage. I'm also quite sure that Raptors, Allosauruses, and T-Rexes did not have neck issues that resulted in neck being compressed back into the body or stretching out when the dinosaur makes a sharp turn. Also, plot items don't spawn.

I'd have to say OoT or Super Smash Bros Melee. There were about 50+ glitches in both. They were still awesome though.

Torque kills instantly unless the arrow somehow falls out of the target. (rare) Headshots are always instakill but people are usually gay and aim with an active reload at the body to down people.

I also like to mention F.E.A.R. and F.E.A.R. Extraction Point for some story scenario and physics glitches. Weapons fall through floors, bodys get stuck in walls or ceilings, and you pass a certain point without having to trigger the scenario.

hmm, well I have another game to add:

robocod for the gamegear. It's a strange game I got when I was really young for christmas. I don't have a game gear anymore, but I still have the actual game .. I would always fall through the walls and walk through enemies. It was really strange, heh.

My cousins have this Judge Dredd game for the gamecube. It's a multiplayer shooter, but it is extremely glitched. Sometimes, you could be walking and suddenly you fall through the floor and die. Other times, when you get close to a wall, your screen goes dark and you can only see the background. Another thing that often happens is that when you respawn, you're unable to move. The funniest glitch is when you go up to punch a person, you will somehow take off their head.
