Personally I'd like healing/creation type powers. However off the top of my head I'm having a hard time thinking of anime chars with such abilities, though there are some in western media. Anyway I guess I'd go with Dende's healing, thats the only char with a power remotely like what I'm thinking of and would certainly keep me busy every day.

Just out of curiosity anybody else know of an anime with characters with healing or creation powers?

Mai Kawasumi from Kanon, a few characters from Slayers, but mostly Amelia and Sylphiel. Dokuro from Bokusatsu Tenshi (Eng: Club to Death Angel), though she's usually responsible for the damage to begin with. Probably more that I can't think of right now.
Personally, I'd go with a Death Note.
