My friend told me about it. I kinda procrastinated about joining until I got bored one day after school, and finally decided to join. I am glad I did!!! It was my first forum, too. Hehe.

Well i joined because my sis and her friend (Cape) had talked me into it... See i was bored and i wanted to have fun online...considering the only other thing i ever did online was check my yahoo email and play and replay levels of Final Doom and C&C..

Yup havent seen my sis on so much lately but Cape is on quite a bit and i talk to her by messenger, they may be my only friends but hey i get along just fine i think.

I found it ages ago when I was looking for Sailor Moon pics. The site I joined was called TuxedoMask back then, which eventually became this place and not just for Sailor Moon fans.

I was looking for pictures of Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV on AnimeGalleries, and there was a button that said 'forum', so I clicked it, and made the account 'aozora no namida'. Obviously, now I'm Memento Mori.

I was (and still am) an animewallpapers reaper. I first used the forum to ask if anyone knew if a character in a wallpaper was from an anime or a game or whatever (conveniently posted in the wrong section too lol). Then I just kept posting.

I wanted to revamp my interests and activity in the Anime/Manga subculture, and to accomplish myself as a better member of the scene I took an immediately active approach and joined AF. In the beginning I mostly met people and gathered a list of Anime/Manga to watch/read (still growing) and now I have already watched/read a decent amount so I am starting to really "catch up" (as though there is a pace to hobbies). I am thankful to have AF and my fellow members as the kind and cooperative resources to my rise of awareness in the Anime/Manga mediums, and the subculture that surrounds them. ^_^
