Season 1 - Dinozord-Rita

Season 2 - Thunderzords-Lord Zedd

Season 3 - Ninja and Shogun Zords-Rito,Zedd,Rita

Season 4 - Zeo

Season 5- Turbo

Season 6- Power Rangers in Space

all I can say this blows for those of us living in the US, they get it on dvd and we don't, even though the series was made and filmed here in the states, except for the Zord battles

I was all exited when the power rangers were finally on T.V here (French-Canada) but I was a bit disappointed by it cause it was childish and always "loose first fight then win second with superpowers"... anyway had no choice to stop watching it cause the T.V channel had complaints by parents who tought it was too violent for childrens....

I'm not sure what to say. Calling power rangers gay would be insulting to homosexuals. It's silly. It's hard to take seriously. It sucks. It's not even bad in a way that is entertaining (like Ed Wood's films, or early Doctor Who). It's just bad.

I must say that I truly think the power rangers is silly and childish, I'll admit, when I was younger, I kinda liked the first season, but the show has gotten so bad, just like pokemon, the seasons have gotten lamer and lamer.

From Might Morhpin' Power Rangers all the way through to the Power Rangers In Space, the series (those seasons all leading up to or concerning the evil alliance, Zordon, and the Samarian Planet and everything that happened in between) was easily my favorite childhood show.

While it never translated well to video games, there is no doubt or debate about the overwhelming success of the series, or the other merchandise it produced.

When Power Rangers ZEO debuted, it got a prime-time spot at 8pm on FOX. Followed by a new episode of X-Men at 8:30pm.
It was THAT big. And that freakin' sweet. I remember gathering around the TV with my brother and sister waiting for it to come on.

I think the season with Lord Zedd's takeover and initial banishment of Rita Repulsa also debuted on prime-time.

Also, Power Rangers has been running for... oh... 12, 13 years now? I will admit that the seasons suck now, and the writing has gotten considerably worse. Though, I did really enjoy the Red Ranger special with 10 out of 11 of the Red Rangers. Rocky was the missing one. He was not included because they brought TJ and Jason instead.

But then again.... Justin took Rocky's place in TURBO: A Power Ranger's movie when Rocky got his back broken after getting kicked out of the ring during a exhibition fight. And by then, Rocky was a blue ranger and Justin took his spot, and Tommy had assumed the roll of Zeo Ranger 1: Red.

Anyway...

Power Rangers was pretty sweet, I'd love to have that collection on DVD.

Nice to see that they've brought back the classics. The old school rock from the original and Zeo openings were awesomeness, and the toys were worth getting into fights in the schoolyard for.

I thrived on the corniness, the cheesy effects and one liners. The giant robots were epic even if they were so obviously fake, even to a little kid. I'll never forget it as a part of my childhood.

EDIT: Childish? Of course it is. Who the heck do you think the audience is?

To those saying the newer ones all suck: To be honest, I kind of liked Ninja Storm's story. Just enough cheese and just enough srs to keep things entertaining.

Mystic Force is worth watching for the sheer mediocrity of it all, though, and cancels out Ninja Storm's adequacy.

Problem w/ the new ones:

The look like adult movie sets.Am I the only one who noticed.Plus, the acting seems like an adult movie type.I'm looking mainly at the pink power ranger.
