...what would be your modus operandi? Or rather, how would you go about your trolling business? Just curious. =D

I would, first off, start a thread on a mildly age inappropriate and/or mature topic (probably relating to lesbiansm) every week or so and take a very controversial stand on it. Then proceed to defend said stand vehemently with failed logic and personal insults (playing the sexual orientation card of course, cuz I can!).

Then I would post in existening topics like a regular member, for the most part, but I would also flame bait several respected and known to be susceptible members without seeming to.

And I would moan and whine and complain about how people don't like me in nearly all my posts and bad rep people with differing opinions. I might just throw in disgusting and vile blog entries too, in an attempt to be like a random fool. (ie p s 2 h u a n g)

I tried trolling a few times and I am not very good at it. But, I would probably construct some arguments against the mods with false dichotomies and arguing false causation. When questions were asked of me, I would begin to answer the question, but get seriously diverted at some point and begin to talk about something else.

It means to post with the goal of provoking other users into an emotional response, or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

I guess I'd need some motivation to do so. So I guess I'd troll libertarian forums, generally by presenting facts repeatedly in many threads and to make it easy on myself I wouldn't generally bother with reading replies. I'll just hit the quote button and copy past something. Then make a second account and scream about violence and coercian if they ban me.

As far as conscious trolling is concerned, I prefer quality to quantity. A beawoo voice of global acceptance in a heated DC vs. Marvel argument. A subtle but conspicuously-placed spoiler. I am to internet trolling what a spear fisherman is to rl trolling.
