Manga Ideas

Hello. I have been toying around with some manga ideas for a while now,
and I've narrowed it to the two that I like the most. I'll probably make both
eventually anyways, but I was curious about which one each of you like
more. If anything, I suppose I'm also looking for a bit of motivation.
Well... here are my two ideas:


The House of Lost Youth
Genres/Themes: Drama, Slice of Life, Supernatural

Tsubasa is a neglected teenager who has been alone his entire life. After
moving into a derelict mansion by himself on the outskirts of a city, he
takes in other troubled youth that he meets and together they overcome
the difficulties in life.


Daet'Ni
Genres/Themes: Science Fiction, Steam-Punk, Action, Adventure, Magic

This is a story which takes place in a giant metropolis called "The Citadel".
Surrounded by walls which scrape the sky and without a single gateway or
opening, the city houses many different civilizations. One day, after
unwittingly saving a exiled druid clansman, a boy finds himself pulled into an
epic adventure with a resistance group which persues an unthinkable goal...
a way to leave The Citadel....

Daet'Ni appeals to me more based solely on the storyline. However, I also love a good comedy, and The House of Lost Youth could be pretty funny imo. As long as you keep the comedy fresh and funny.

Tsubasa is French/Japanese, and "The House of Lost Youth" takes place in a
fictional sea-side city (I was thinking about something with Venician/Italian
architecture).
