I don't know what I like about them, or the particular type I like... But I like them anyway. ^_^

Alright, for the sake of this to not turn into the next "lets all post creepy things and make sure this is locked as soon as possible" thread, we will think of fetishes in the Japanese way. And like I posted down there; fetishes (or "fecchi"・フェッチ) in Japan is basically what you find attractive or appealing about people in general.

I usually associate fetishes like...a foot-fetish or furries or what have you (gotta stop lurking on 4chan I swear...) so when I hear those I think of them more as turn on's than fetishes. But I guess technically all those things are classified as fetishes. Mine? Glasses, pretty common fetish I'd say.

Maybe I don't think it's such a controversial topic because I'm from Japan, where "fetish" (or "fecchi" as we Japanese say) practically means "something that you like". >_>

A fetish involves being sexually attracted to things that are not normally considered sexual. Things like feet, dead bodies or lamp posts. So there's potential for this thread to become very creepy.

It's mostly from experience. There's been many threads like this before, and they all derail. In English, a fetish has strong sexual connotations. It is not just some mere turn-on or feature that is important for how you like a person.
