For example: I'm eating a sandwich and someone comes up to me and says "Watcha eating, a sandwich?"

These types of questions get me so frustrated.

well, since I am in food service, in a community not at all short on ghetto trash and incompetent welfare-spawn, I get asked a lot of dumb and/or annoying questions.

Such as, "Does da -item that has 'cheese' right in its name..literally- got any cheese own'it? -said in that manner.-"

a customer will ask me the price of every damned item on the menu, not bothering to look themselves. by now tho, i'm so used to the idiocy that i know almost every items price by heart.

outside of work, I get questions about me being black -and- heavily into rock n roll, acoustic, punk, etc. I like being a non-stereotype and all, but it's not like ther has NEVER been a black guitar player/rock singer. I do sound pretty "white" a lot of the time, I'm told; but I don't view the way i speak as "white"; I view it as being proper and articulate...well-educated. Basically, I'm just being me. in relation to sounding "white" when i sing, tho..or having the ability to..? I get a kick out of the reactions. xD

At work the worst has to be, "Is this the BMCC?"

It stands for Borough of Manhattan Community College. It is a bright, shiny metal building across the street. It takes up a whole city block. Why would you walk into a small residential building and ask that?

E.g. of stupid question:
Once i told a friend of mine i am going with another friend of mine to buy a wedding gift, and she asked me: "Is she getting married?"

E.g. of obvious question: When you hit yourself and you're in pain, someone asks you "Are you ok?" :| c'mon.

I don't like it when people ask "how r u?" I don't mean to look down on how you type, I'm sure you're not dumb in real life, but pleaseeee. Also, when they do a combination like "how r u? asl?" I really get annoyed.

Also, don't ask me how I am if you're not really interested. It's annoying to talk to people who ask "how r u?", gets a reply, and then remains in silence.
