To tell the truth, mine was when my uncle died. <3 And sadly I'm still being a bit emo over it and depressed.

Today we had the burial and I went to Louisiana. Not fun. Had to drive one full day, the next day I had to get up around nine and spend almost the entire day there. I got back about an hour ago, at least I got back to the computer an hour ago, save for it was being used by someone else. Friends and other non-relations to me were there, along with my aunt. < Not related by blood or law. > She calls herself my aunt. -- o_O That's what really has me down. Counting now, I have no uncles left, since one other cheated on his wife with an older woman. ( Ew. )

My uncle died on friday.
It's weird, but I don't feel depressed that much.
I think he lived a great and a long life for someone with cystic fibrosis.
I know he's someplace great now.

Usually I get really depressed when people forget about me, or when they tell me I'm unimportant. Right now even in my school most people dont know my name or if they do, its just because of my loud, well-known best friend so I'm just in someone elses shadow. >.>;

I'm never sensitive to relationship issues, so I usually focus all my efforts on schoolwork. When I do bad I can be depressed for weeks. : /

The 4 months of job hunting after me and Fabala moved. That was utterly soul destroying. The feelings of utter uselessness at being unable to find a job or provide for somebody I care for so much was overwhelmingly depressing. I almost had a complete breakdown over it.

When I was younger it was family problems, I know this because I am the person I am today because my aunt died when I was young. Before she died i was one of the most popular kids at my school(2nd to 4th), I was the class clown and everyone knew who I was, after she died I basically went emo. I was like this for about a year, in this time I was quiet and didn't talk to anyone. I went down in popularity, by fifth grade not many people knew me.

I'm still not over her death completely, she was very important to me, like my second mom. Her death made me who I am now, I'm a very blunt person who tells it like it is, and I don't care much about other peoples feelings, mainly because my aunts death made me very callous towards other people's feelings. I feel like without my aunt, life just isn't fun. It takes a lot to make me sad and depressed now, mainly because my normal state of happiness is much lower than that of a "normal" person.

Recently I met a girl named lauren that was really awesome. For about a month we talked, a lot, about pretty serious stuff too. long story short, thought it was going good until she got back with her ex, who I found out is an old acquaintance of mine that tried to rape my 12 yr old friend when he was 17 (I was 13 at the time, 12 yrs ago) and for some reason lauren kinda phased me out.

What makes me deppressed? not getting a chance ^_^

Thats some harsh stuff I've read so far, and I'm really sorry for you guys.

Compared to some of the things, it makes mine quite weak, but ater my grandparents dog die, I was rather upset about it. It might seem odd, but I spent most of the summers looking after the dog, and it was like a special bond, it was one of the things I liked to do in the summer. Mind, after the death, I spent like 3 days being inconsolable.

At the moment, I'd say the thing I get sad/depressed about is seeing jerks out with partners, and I mean real jerks who go around barging past people and swearing in public. It makes me wonder what I do that is so bad that people refuse to give me that first chance of a date now-a-days. Selfish, I know but it is the truth.

I agree! You see people who depending can be jerk-faces with dates etc then all the other people who are..I suppose more deserving of that opportunity don't seem to get that chance... Sadly I suppose I'm one of those people..well I don't know..I've never asked anyone

What makes me depressed is when my mom's boyfriend is over. He and my 13 yr old bro fight and its really annoying seeing my mom stand up for her bf. Its kinda like she doesnt want us near her when hes over. Oh and he is always sleeping over. Honestly he has his own house to sleep in. Ugh and he tries to talk to me but I hate him so much i just ignore him. He also has these two bratty kids (i wont go into detail cause the amount of swears it takes to describe them would get me banned) Anyway and another thing that makes me depressed is when my bro makes fun of me. Hes really mean and he like kicks me when im down. (Yes hes 13 and no i have no self esteem) Hes a total pain and he thinks he owns me. He once told me to lay down in front of the door so he could wipe his feet on me. Oh and hes chased after me several times with knives of various sort. I hate him so much. Ugh my life sucks. Thank God for my horse and barn owner otherwise id not be here right now.

Ack. What makes me sad and puts me in a funk all day is thinking aout the future. Just crap like college, getting a job, (no family), living on my own. Yeah, I'm ecstatic about it, but at the same time it's terrifying to me. I can't wait to be considered a legal adult [less than two years], but with all of that freedom comes a truckload of responsibilty. Responsibilty that might be more than I can bear and am ready for. :-/
