Subtitles
Dubbed
Manga
My vote goes to manga, that's simply because the manga rendition always stays true to the actual story. Second is subs, dubs coming last. Honestly, I can't stand dubs, it's horrible...

I like both Subtitles and Manga, but Subtitles more since it does help me alot since its actual Spoken Japanese Vs Manga which usually still has particles of Japanese that For the most part don't know what they mean.
As for Sub vs Dub which I already had a thread for, it turned out surprisingly even, think sub's won by a couple votes.
Both Subtitles and Dubs
Manga and Subs. :3
film junkie speaking (manga dismissed automatically ) - undetermined between sub and dub. like i said in that sub vs dub topic: most of dubs i've seen (heard, whatever) were flawed: not emotional, too emotional (to me, that sounds incredibly bad in english), miscasted, script-changing (in a very bad way), but if they're done right, they can be much better than subs. what i used to do is get episodes in mkv format (which i later had to split, since it's incompatible with my dvd player), but just a few months ago, i found a better way: anime news network's reviews. also, i seem to share many opinions with those guys.
Subbed is still better for me. Dubbed is the worst. As for manga, it kills the pocket by putting a whole in it & i'm still currently unable to read japanese. Original version of comics preferred but since i cant read it, there's not much point in it...http://www.animeforum.com/image/thum_17315348b3fa3514f59.jpg
I used to be hardcore subbed. But I've actually run into some decent voice acting in some stuff I could only get dubbed recently. My old pet peeve with dubs were that the voices were horrid. (For example a character in a serious anime having a squacky voice etc etc).
sub all the way cause the dubb voice overs tend to suck

You can't put manga in the same category as sub and dub.I like Dub, but manga will come first.
I like the sub Japanese anime better cuz it is the real thing and manga would be my second it really depends what mood I'm in or what I want to do

I like dubbed anime simply because it is in my native language, English. I will watch anime in Japanese on occasion but I do not watch subbed anime. I do not trust fansubs as they can be inaccurate and the subtitles can be annoying. Watching anime in Japanese can help you learn Japanese, but only if the translation is correct, although some don't recognize the mistakes as they...well...don't understand Japanese.
So if I watch an anime in Japanese, I will watch it without them (I am fluent enough in Japanese to understand what is going on without them).
This is my war face.
This is what happens to trolls who mess with me.
If I have a choice, I choose dubbed. If not, then I don't let it bother me because no matter what language it's in, it's better than a lot of american stuff.
Who am I? I am The Man in the Iron Mask.
I do not like dubs at all O_O Sometimes the voices are not clear. Like SoRen-Ji said, "japanese character's voices in anime reflect their personality clearly"....yea, so subbed anime is definitely better. =^w^=

Anime with Japanese dialogue and subtitles.
That which is; is the truth.
Manga.... Cause it's (usually) better than anime... :P And I prefer subs in anime...Dubs are just horrible because usually the voice actors can't act the same way as Japanese do it... ^^;
It's a joint win between the sub and the manga.
I voted for manga though because I sometime just like to flick through and look at the artwork :3
MANGA, because reading is good for the mind...and soul!
I've always prefered manga, just because it's a quicker reference, and I don't feel like I'm rotting my mind as much.
In 2nd? Subs...to help me learn the language! :P

Depends on what your watching.
If your watching something like Welcome To The NHK or GTO then yes, because you will have to say Hajimemashite or Hai Genki Desku. If your watching Naruto or Bleach your probably never going to say "I'm going to use my Bankai to destroy you".
subs all the way.
not only does it help teach me little bits of japanese which i will hopefully need when i go to japan, but dubs just take away from the character.
i tried to watch a dub once, and i just couldn't do it.
