It's easy to figure out the topic!

I would like to nominate Disturbed for crappiest band name. There are few bands that are really truly as painfully obvious as this one. If they named the band "HEY TEENIES WE'RE ANGRY AND UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN UNLIKE YOUR PARENTS SO GO BUY OUR STUFF" you would have the same effect. Disturbed pigeonholes themselves immediately to the "troubled/misunderstood" pasty white kid crowd AND GUESS WHO THEIR MUSIC CATERS TO LOLOLOLOL.

They also suck.



And The Beatles is the worst pun ever.

I know they had to change because of legal reasons, but they could've done better than that.

I have to agree with Gandizzl on the Dragonforce name. At least it mirrors the band's music: completely unoriginal.

I can't stand names of bands that sound like the members just threw words together in an attempt to sound catchy or trendy. Plus... Alexisonfire...?

Is that supposed to be Alex is on fire, or Alexis on fire? What the hell. I don't even listen to that band, but I see the name all the time.

And They Might Be Giants are awsome, and their name is really good. It's taken from a broadway play/film which then again has taken it out of a Don Quixote quote about how windmills might be evil giants.

Smile Empty Soul - The name just screams EMO. Some of their songs are alright but they live up to the name.
Five Finger Death Punch - The name just sounds like they were trying way too hard to come up wait a name that was vulgar, violent-sounding and HARDCORE. Especially for a Christian band e.e
