OK, lets get started...
1. Always obey the rules of AF
2. No Godmodding, especially when concerning the creation of spells. (Note: High level spells obviously eat up magic quicker)
3. Don't kill off other peoples characters without their consent
4. Be reasonable with the amount of posts you make. You obviously don't want other players to get left behind by the story. In other words, we don't want a whole string of just 2 people posting one after the other.
5. No spam like posts e.g. (*looks in shock* "Seriously?") Make the posts decently long. Doesn't have to be paragraphs and paragraphs of text but... a reasonable amount
Many years back a great mage whose name was never known appeared to take control of the magic underworld. He was after the power of the perfect element known as “Aether” and wished to use it to rule not only the magical world, but that of the human world too. The average humans lived their days unaware of the threats, however the magical community was thrown into chaos. They all seemed helpless at the power of dark lord. However, one mage know by the name of “Shimizu Seta”, a drop out at magic school and a completely hopeless mage managed to defeat him. In their final battle, the great mage used a disintegration spell and the dark lord turned to dust. Unknown to the great mage, the dark lord transferred his presence into the ring in his right hand, the second of his death. Shortly after the battle, the great mage disappeared without a trace, never to be seen again.
Fast forward a few years later in modern day Japan stands a school named “Shimizu Academy” stands in place of the battlefield that the great battle happened several years back. Unknown to the outside world, what looks like an average middle/high school is in fact an academy where mages and other magic users can learn the foundations of their magic training. The school utilises spells that keep ordinary people away. If a mage was to speak of the magical world, or anything of this sort, the punishment will be stripping of magical abilities as well as a memory wipe. he school is known throughout the magical community and we find many people from other nations enrolling in the school.
Chapter 1 (The RP will be progressing in parts. When the end of one part is close, I will notify all of you to finish your characters business)
The first day of a new year at Shimizu Academy. A young girl walked into the Shimizu academy grounds. There wasn't anything especially attention grabbing about her, she stood 5'5'' with long deep blue hair that went down to her shoulder blades. She wore the schools uniform and wore a bored expression on her face. Her name is Shimizu Hanako, a second year student, she held a reputation at the school as a very stubborn girl. She didn't have many friends and mostly kept to herself. It is the belief of many teachers and students that her ancestor was none other than the great mage who's victory the school was built in honour of. Hanako had been alone for most of her life, her parents abandoned her and in her childhood nobody would play with her. The cause of this was that many would run in fear of the dark magic that lay inside her. When admitted into the school, the teachers struggled with what to do with her. Her dark past and many negative emotions made her affinity for darkness dangerously strong. As the school bell rang, she hurried off to class.
She walked into the classroom and took her seat, noticing she was the first one their. "Good Morning Hanako!" her teacher said sweetly
"Don't refer to me as if I was your friend..." Hanako repied rudely "Your a teacher, you should be more formal in the manner you talk to your students."
The teacher only sighed to her remark "Whatever, Shimizu-san..." he said quietly.
"Have you thought about you mage class yet?" the teacher asked Hanako "You know, second years are expected to already have chosen their spell casting style."
This remark, Hanako thought, as inappropriate, "Shut up! Don't think you can get me to do what you want! I have no respect for the likes of you!" she said, obviously ticked off. "sheesh... to be so rude to a teacher..." he said to himself. The teacher had a reputation for "not being hard enough on his students". In his student days in Shimizu academy, he was in all meaning of the word, a delinquent. Infact, he was only excepted as a teacher because of his exceptional talent with magic, and his ability to relate to other trouble students, which he had been able to do until Hanako arrived. Having graduated at a young age of 14, his time at the academy was short, but he was hailed as one of the most talented 'stone' element mages in the history of the school. His name is Konoe Tanaka.
Tanaka looked up as several other students entered the room, then glanced around the room until he caught Hanako glaring at him, "This is going to be an interesting year..." he sighed
