Can you Ride a Bike?

I asked this question because I have a friend and she didn't learn how to ride a bike untill she was 11 years old.
So when did you learn how to ride a bike?
And who taught you how?

I learnt how to ride a bicycle when I was seven years of age.
I taught myself.

but to answer the question at hand, i first learned how to ride on training wheels, on this awesome little yellow bike that looked like a killer motorcycle (to me, at the time xD). i loved it..i was like, 6. i had a lil' trouble at first, without training wheels, but eventually i got really good. and i would ride around he neighborhood and with my friends.

but i havent riden a bike since my brother came home...like...3 or 4 years ago. i severely miss it.

And I know it was later than all my friends.
I learnt how on this old rusty yellow bike >< My dad helped me.

but i hate riding my bike cuz i have broken my arm riding a bike.

I saw people riding faster without the training wheels, so I told my daddy I wanted to ride like them and faster.
So he taught me. Heh.

I learned when I was 8, my dad taught me... but he forgot to tell me how to brake so I rode smack into the garage. I lost a tooth that day T.T

I know how to ride a bike now, but I didn't learn how to properly ride one until age 15 ;>> Since my parents and I never considered buying a bike for me until 2-3 years ago, I never got a chance to ride one. So we finally bought one and I learned mostly on my own, and one of the local residents in our apartment building(who lives on the 2nd floor and who is also my friend), helped me to master turning. He told me to let your arms turn the bike and not let the bike turn your whole body around. A lesson learned kind of late O_O; Before he told me that, I went down a hill and lost my control of the bike, fell off, and ended up in a pit -________-; Now, I'm fine But that still doesn't mean that I can do tricks on it

I can make a living off a magazine, I can design an engine sixty four, Miles to a gallon of gasoline, I can make new antibiotics, I can make computers survive aquatic conditions, and I know how to run a business. yeah i am kinda big deal.

Anyway, i learned how to ride my bike like when i was 6. Fun times.

When I was 5 my mum took the safety wheels off and hurled me down the road. I completely stacked it, she laughed and after being convinced it wouldn't happen again I tried it for a second time and stacked it again. The next day I learned to ride a bike =\.

No. I was never taught until I was eleven. Then I only successfully rode it once or twice. I haven't ridden one since then, and despite the saying that you never forget how to ride a bike, I'm sure I wouldn't be able to do it again if I tried. Not that I have any desire to.

When I was about 5 Mum and dad tied rope to each of the handle bars and walked me down the road.
I didn't have trainer wheels on and I remember what happened when they took the rope off.
I was so happy when I could ride without them holding the ropes that kept me from falling.

Think my Father taught me kinda ish... Can't really remember I started when I was 4, off training wheels when I was like 6.

My sister on the other hand didn't get off training wheels till she was like 9.

I love riding my bike very fun ( Norco Atomic) ^^... Mostly use it just around town though.

But Motor bike's are funner ^^... Started on a Dirt Bike when I was 13, Honda 80cc 4 Stroke, then Kx 80, then Kx125.. Then I moved to a town that didn't really have trails. So now I got me a 99 Yamaha R1 =P hehe now thats a riot.

Actually, I -use- to be able to ride a bike. But over the years, I have forgotten. My mom got me a pink bike, when I was like 4-5, and I had this bell on it, so whenever I fell, they would know. But, I rang it to mess with them. Heeee.
