I'd Much Rather Be...

As I slaved away in the library, trying to work out why my fly ratios were beyond ridiculous, I found myself thinking I would much rather be frolicking outside in the sunshine, maybe doing a little bit of photography. A desire that increased as I saw the happy faces of the people outside, who didn't have to stress over progeny that indicated the same two traits were linked and unlinked on the one locus. (You'd think the chi-squared analysis would have helped, but no it did not).

What lame, mundane or otherwise taxing thing did you have to slave through, and what would you prefer to have been doing at the time?

I was once working in a primary school and it was like hell except it was full of.......yeah actually, demons. I wished to be...well anywhere else at all, it was bad. I wanted to be home playing Tekken or something, or just back at my own school. Do not take this wrong though, some of the children there were lovely and I made lots of young friends there, but I would never, ever do it again! Not my fortè. The amount of love letters I came back with was a pile bigger than me too.

One thing I really don't like doing is entertaining guests. And by guests, I mean people I'm relatively acquainted with but don't necessarily like. Usually they come as accessories with your friends and are painfully unavoidable. You just have to push through it.

So, whenever I have to spend an hour (or two or three or four) doing this, I'd rather be one of the places I enjoy visiting when I have alone time. Like Mapleside (acres of apple trees and walking paths. Lots and LOTS of green). Or just reading in bed or working on something.

I used to work in a supermarket, and sometimes you get customers that aren't satisfied with anything, and they can get pretty hysteric too. They scream and glare and they just don't stop!! >_<

At times like those, I'd preffer digging trenches with a spoon, than serving them.

But if I could (seeing that the weather is good), I would like to sit out on a gazebo or something outside, with a cup of tea and a good book. And, of course, my MP3 player. ^__^

I have lock-downs at school quite often.Thank you, California.I don't bring manga or anything manga related so that's what I was looking forward to doing.Reading my Hayate or anything else.I however have to take a male approach and say"I ain't scared of no fool with a gun".

Today, being the first day of school I had to drag myself through six classes full of people I've never seen and hear the same thing about twelve times.
"No mp3 players, keep hands to yourself, dont bring drugs to school, bring a pencil every day, put your name on things" once an hour, exactly the same way, in a voice usually used on 2nd graders. Very very boring. I thought to myself (quite a few times) "I'd much rather be at home sleeping or home alone listening to music..."

Well now, this is an easy one. School started recently(my senior year) and as always when I'm at school, I'd prefer to be home. Also, I don't dislike going to stores, restaurants, and yes...even the mall. I'd rather be home or with my best friend, so I'm more of a person who likes to get what needs to be done done and leave, instead of lingering about and such.

I work in a fast food place and i have to be in backcash EVERY day, you know, that cramped little area where they take your money? Theres windows all around you so you see how nice and sunny it is outside. While your confined in a small hot room sweating and smelling like french fries =.=

Homework. I don't like whatever they call "homework". As long as it is something concerning "homework", it must be something I would hate O_O So I obviously do not like to do "homework"...But I spent my time ridiculously on the "homework" instead of slacking(what I like to do) around or watching anime. =w=; So - concludes.

I hate doing tedious homework... like making lists of things or whatnot.. Vocab lists, etc.

When the family I work for goes out, I have to watch their 3 year old daughter. She can be a sweet little girl sometimes, but usually, when its just me and her, all she does is cry for her mother and hit me. I'd usually rather do almost anything than spend hours watching her. Thankfully, though it doesn't happen very often.

Chi-squares are easy I prefer them to most other statistics stuff.

Every week I gotta write an essay for history of 1,5 pages. I'd much rather use the time to have some FUN, whatever, Photoshop, watch anime, read manga, watch whatever other show I have downloaded, go out, be with my friends, shop, eat out, CLEAN MY ROOM.

But nooooooo. In the end I'll be a GOD at writing essays but I know there's so many things I'd rather want to do.
