High School Musical

So, what are you opinions about High School Musical? Is anyone looking forward to the third movie?

I personally liked the first movie, but I think it started to get really bad when they came out with the sequel. I probably will go to see the third movie, just to see if it was any good.

I thought it was getting bad when the concept of making that musical was thought up.

Each person that took participation in that abomination should be tied to a crucifix fitted with a mechanical device that would slam them to the ground every 5 minutes for the entire duration of the film.

I've seen both, because my sister was watching them in the only tv in our house.
The music and acting wasn't for me, but kids don't know the difference between good and bad music and acting, so its great for them.

Yeah, IMO High School Musical is the dumbest worst stupidest most annoying yet so popular movie evar!!!! i just hate it so much, i resent it, i DESPISE IT it is just so....so GRRRR there isnt even a work for it. not being rude or anything or offensive but pretend (or maybe it did and im sorry for your loss) that your best friend died in the twin towers, how do you feel about Osama? that how i feel about high school musical lol

I thought the idea of it was good. The first movie seems okay, though I've never actually seen all of it. The second and third movies are getting too excessive. I think they should've just stuck with one movie. If they did, it would leave a much bigger impact in history.

i actually enjoyed the first movie of hsm. it only became bad when people began to over-do it with the movie's popularity and they came out with the sequel and all. i am not looking forward to the new one.

if something is a smash hit, it pretty much begs for a sequel these days, or a follow up/spin-off. it's just the way it is these days: give the people what they want until they grow sick of it, and even when they do, have a massive fortune at your side anyway, because people are stupid.

hey, if i were them, i'd be making as much money off this crap as i possibly can, too.

but nope, i've not watched any of the HSM movies, and i don't plan on watching any of them, unless i am forced to by a hot girl.

The idea of singing and doing whatever the hell they do (walk, play sports, ect.) is retarded. What's the point? The singing is terrible, and the concept itself makes no sense. Lets sing about everything? And then following it up with sequels? It's making the movie itself worse and worse. Like Shrek.

Not that I hate it or love the movie. I'm just neutral. If I happen to be surfing the channel and have nothing to watch and see the movie, then I'd watch it.

Since when do school teenagers..."sing"? Back in my school days it just consisted of having apple wars, catching wasps and throwing them at eachother, and stealing hot dogs from the cafeteria.

I can't stand HSM. The music is so corny and stupid, they sing for every little thing, and it's just such a wrong interpretation of what high school really is. There are deeper problems in high school other than not making it in the talent show. >> The acting is mediocre too. (Don't know if I spelled mediocre right)

It's sounds like a hypocrit to say that I dislike people obsessed with HSM since I'm obsessed with anime,but honestly it has the plot line of the fakest High School ever.I wish while the gangs were beating up another gang we would all break out in dance{Hare Hare Yukai excluded},but no we run and watch.

It is not the fact that they are repetitive and boring..they just plain suck.

Twice now I have went into town to see different young girls wearing "High School The Musical" T-shirts. If only they realised... I wish I could've burnt the shirts, although I have no such intentions of burning younglings alive for the sake of that crappy film. Plus, they were really cute. ^_^
