The effect, the path was already in a c4d but it's too plain and boring so I added the lines via custom brushes and GIMP's PATHS tool.

I had always hope I was heading in the right direction with my signature, thanks =D

It's pretty basic stuff paths tool and custom brushes only. I was really bored so I decided to try them out.

I see there are 2 ways the sig flows. That seems a bit wrong here. But since you were just trying out the brushes...

Vector, like Cross said, or do a little topaz thing if it helps

And also, use more ranges of colors D: Its looks like you just eyedropped the color. Add some creativity to it!

I like your prison break sig, it's rockin =D White border is best. As for your transparency signature; I agree that the stock isn't vibrant enough... also the colours you used. When I think of vectors I think of bright colours. But I really like the concept of it! And I like how you did the text part, smashing.

Yukki: Yes well for the most part I was going to make something similar to Lovebeat's tutorial, but it ended up looking nothing like it, so it became a gift to one of my closest friends.

I like Balance's signature but they weird smudging behind the sword lady bothers me, it looks too weird for me. The color are a bit boring on that one, how many gradiant maps did you use? The text color is also really weird, I think you could of chosen a better one than white, maybe black or eye drop it a color.

No I didn't use any maps with exception to a black and white one, I guess the white text is a bit awkward but I dunno I thought it fit, but I guess not.

I make all of my own backgrounds, usually just by using the extraction itself or by just using gradient maps or something.

I think you should try some more solid...and different effects. Your sigs look really messy, and the colors washed out. Try putting most of your effects around the render. :3
