Improving on comic book ideas part 2

Okay-I have an idea for a team of lumberjack vigilantes-they have an arsenal of saw- and axe-related weapons and tools and other lumberjack-related weapons and tools. How do I modify their weapons and tools so they aren't so intimidating and dangerous?

Uhm...IMPO, if you meant that for the designing, you should use cloth or make it into something mecha-related...at the least. If you'd like to do it the marvel way, try not to use too much curve lines and reflective metal in the weapons O_O(coz's that'll show the sharp points and is intimidating...to children...)
