Everything can be changed. From simple things like biting finger nails all the way to sexual orientation. A person can be a Tabula Rasa (white card) at birth but what’s written on it later can always be corrected.

Not quite. People aren't blank slates when they are born. Genetics still have a strong say on who we turn out to be. Things like sexual orientations can not be changed by will. That being said, even purely cultural behaviors can be hard to change.

Really? Hmmm... let me look back at my ex gay friend and his life. Hmmmm yup. Still straight after he made an effort to change (the problem was somewhere in his early childhood but he doesn’t say anything about it). That's a bad, bad Eris. Stop spreading your chaos. Now stay away from my comments. I just needed to see it to believe it. There's nothing in the genes. There is no "gay" gene and people are not "born" that way. They are not born fat or thin either. Twins can be complete opposites. Even when their genetically the same so that pretty much makes you fail already. Habits, the food and all other things that we eat all are preferences.

Homosexuality seems analogis to obesity in that it seems possible to change with enough commitment to it. Perhaps it's not fun to Not wear your sexuality on your sleeve anymore. An isolated incident is not proof against my claim. It is entirely possible your friend was bisexual all along, but repressing one or another side of his sexuality. Homosexual peoples' brains are PHYSICALLY DIFFERENT from that of heterosexual people. It is not just some taught behavior, it goes much deeper than that. While it is possible that it is indeed not entirely a genetic matter, that doesn't mean it is a cultural thing either. From this physical difference, it appears likely that it is hormonal. But simply reversing this hormonal thing probably won't "fix" them either. They have been exposed to these hormones for their entire life: It has shaped their bodies and minds to be homosexual. It isn't going to "rub off". Not ever.

Pfft, I can't not have some nail growth. Each fingernail has grown specifically for its own purpose. Some are shovellike diggers, some are hooked for opening plastics, etc.
