Iron Man or Batman:The Dark Knight which did you like better.
I think Batman was way better.From the way he entered the apartments to the realistic hospital explosion I liked it.The only problem was the shootings were blocked so you have to wait for the DVD.
Iron Man was too kiddy.It didn't have much violence deserving a PG rating.Overall the flying was nice/
I'd have to agree, Dark Knight was way better. Jeff Bridges was the only reason Iron Man made money *cough*

Iron Man was perfect for what it was. Comparing it to DK as a comic fan is unfair.
Hell, comparing them as a movie fan is unfair, they're not even the same kind of movie.
They are both superhero movies of the action genre, so I think it is safe to say they ARE the same kind of movie.
But I agree. It isn't fair to compare these two movies. They aren't in the same ballpark. Heck, they aren't even in the same league. Just the same sport. Ironman was great, but it was much more light-hearted than DK; Ironman was like T-ball while Dark Knight is the MLB. Dark Knight had darker elements than the typical superhero movie.
Rather than comparing Ironman to Dark Knight, I think it would've been better to compare Ironman to Incredible Hulk.

I've actually heard Dark Knight described more as a crime drama or psychological thriller, which are distinct subcategories of action. Iron Man, on the other hand, is a prototypical big-explosion action movie.
To steal your analogy, DK is baseball but IM is playing catch. Same basic equipment but one's fundamental while the other so complex it's a new game.
Each movie had a different goal they were trying to accomplish. Both were successful I think, but Dark Knight was on a much grander scale than Iron Man. That doesn't necessarily mean one was executed better than the other, but like Faceless said, they weren't really in the same ballpark to begin with.
0_0 OH MY... well.. the Dark Knight was awsome... very dark and twisted...
but lets not forget batman begins which wasnt that great, didnt have a big name bad guy and was basically the starting of batman/how batman became batman... and IRON MAN was well... basically Iron Man Begins which was a movie about how Iron man became Iron man... so just wait till Iron Has a part 2.... i really dont think its fair to compare Batman 2 to Iron man 1... Batman Begins compared to Iron man would be better/fair i say...
PS: Dark Knight blew Iron Man away!

I prefer "The Dark Knight," but I do have to say that "Iron Man" had a completely different feel to it. Batman had more mature concepts in it, which were dealt with very well, I think. Yet, Iron Man seemed to move more easily (no wonder, Downey was a lot more lackadaisical than Bale, but once again, that's due to the different moods of the two movies).
If we're comparing comics, comparing Marvel to DC is like comparing having a girlfriend to an online girlfriend, to stray from the baseball analogies (I hate baseball). It's the same basic concepts, but at the end of the night you're still just playing with yourself. I've never enjoyed a DC comic outside of Batman. I enjoyed most Marvel comics. But movie wise? The Dark Knight is, no contest, better than Iron Man. But they are very VERY different. Batman's story has much more emotional depth and gravitas than Iron Man's story. It would be too much of a stretch to turn a movie like Iron Man into a movie you'd compare it to. It's like comparing The Shawshank Redemption to Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay.

The Dark Knight. It was really good and all of Heath Ledger's scenes were awesome, especially the hospital explosion scene.

I enjoyed the Iron person (man) better as it involved the person (man) made of substance (essence) of Iron, and in similar, the song is equally good.But it is not so good in comparison with such big power station as it is the Iron Person (Man)!
I'm a DC fan.Marvel is too kiddy.DC has more deaths.
Am sorry to say that the english in use by me is no good and is upset the epople many!!!but to answer the question that has been prposing i say dark knight was best so far out of those two!!! i see them both locally at nearby in the cinema!!!!!! but diagree is waht i will do with dc vs, marvel!!! muche better are the marvel supermen than the dc. batman has become what will call the only exception to rule.
