Yay, okay, here is a new tutorial, hopefully more clear than my first one. If there are any unclear parts, feel free to pm me.

Not bad, but having your pupils search a pre-photoshopped background image won't ever teach them how to completely make their own background.

Yup yup, but that's why this is more of a beginning tutorial. They can move into more complex backgrounds once they know how to effectively apply overlay and other effects.

Well, the image was used more as a texture instead of a bg, which is something I do often [<333 tectures]

This is a really cute tutorial, and the end result is adorable. The only thing I wouldve added was a border, but it looks just as nice without one

This definitely is a good tutorial.
I never thought that such little manipulation and actual Photoshop procedures would be needed to get that effect.

Great job on explaining.
Now I understand how you make some of your signatures.
