I like everything about that wallpaper except for that outline/shadow of her. To me it would be just right then.

I agree. It looks great except for the shadow. Putting a gradiant in it doesnt look right. It should be one solid color, but try to keep the outline. The shadow might look better if it was the same size and offset from the subject instead of enlarged. Whether the mesh texture should stay on it I dont know. Personally, Id seperate it from the background.

As for the text, "Founder of: SOS Brigade", Im not sure if the colon is necessary. You'd get the same effect if it read "SOS Brigade Founder".

I think you should just remove the outline all-together. It's much easier that way. Otherwise, great wall. You did a good job.

Personally, I feel you should completely omit the "Founder of: SOS Brigade" text. It's not very eye catching, and it doesn't sound very fluid, so it feels to me like it's just there to take up space, because just "Suzumiya Haruhi" isn't exactly a mouthful of words either. Except that wallpapers don't need to be wordy, so again, I say you should remove the subtext.

That's really my only beef with the piece in general. Other than that, I feel there is nothing eye-catching about the wallpaper, nothing that really grabs your attention. It's fairly simple and "two-dimensional". I have no suggestions to change this though, besides a complete re-working of the image ground up.

Don't get me wrong though, it looks good, but just simple.

I really do not like the color. Green really doesn't go with Haruhi. Maybe a blue or a yellow, but that's just me. There also no blending, so it would have been more effective you exploit the depth here through shadowing effects.

Hm.. Nice, nice. Great for a Haruhi obsessed otaku, seeing as she's alone and smack in the center of the wp. The grunge effect looks somewhat out of place next to the shatter effect in the BG though. o: Good job overall.

I don't like the shadow like thingy behind her. And you could have cut out the Founder of SOS text. And put a little bit more lively colors in the background (I think it's too light). Could have used a little more work but it looks good.
