I can`t understand some people some times.They torture animals for fun and some even enjoy watching animals starve.I even met a man who raised dogs just to have to fun killing them and supposingly with a axe(so he claimed).The last I`ve heard of him,he was in jail and I believe that he got a sentence of six years.I`ve got no pitty for those who get punish for torturing animals.

What do you think about animal cruelty?

Animal cruelty is wrong in any form...Animals have just as much a right to life as humans do...Anyone whom would commit such a heinous crime deserves no pity....

the only reason someone would punish an animal for no reason is because he is to much of a coward to face the reason why he needs punishment....people who are cruel to animals should burn in hell with people who molest children and peewee herman

i hate any type of animal cruelty. i hate how people test on animals, how they tourture animals for amusment(sp) and i hate the whole idea of it. it bugs me that someone can be so careless and heartless to just let an animal of thier very own suffer or die of neglect or torture, i hate people who do that.

Animal cruelty is simply, unecessary U_U I hate people who abuse animlas for their own enjoyment or personal gain. It pains me to see animals suffer, and people who abuse them should go to jail for more than just 2 years and only pay like a $1000 fine T_T People that are cruel to animals treat them like they were a disposable commodity, and they not only hurt the lives of animals, but I bet they hurt other people as well. If i was an animal cruelty officer, I'd say "Now it's your turn, I hope you enjoy it." These people think life is all about them, but what about the animals, the ones that they made suffer?? When they get arressted, they hate it, they hate the fact that they will pay for their crimes, but just imagine how those animlas felt everyday, when the owner treated them so poorly I hope it stops, but unfortunately...it won't :[

*shakes head* I don't why people can be so cruel. The last story I read was about twenty-something year old man torturing a kitten to death. I was shocked and disgusted and it really POed me off. The guy ended up in jail for six years and was fined $AU23,000.
However whats going to stop the guy from repeating what hed done.

I heard a good way to find a psychopath is to find someone who tortures animals. That's actually one of the big major signs of a murder.

lol ok when animals create a NO human cruelty pact thingy i'll start giving a crap about animals... some people give up so much time to trying to save animals when animals in fact dont give a crap about you and will eat your face off in a second!

*shakes head* Animal cruelty is wrong no matter what, they have no real way to protect themselves if someone is kicking them or hitting them apart from attacking the human back and most animals are too good natured to do that. It should be stopped but when there are still people like ahem *above* ahem then it will just continue. I agree with what Red said though, people who treat animals cruelly should be treated the same way and see how they like it ... maybe that would make them think twice.

i could never hurt an animal but i have cousins who can they have lots of dogs mainly female dogs when they make too much pups they kill them i will not mention the ways i which they do it's to cruel. but all i have to say is there is no law in my country against cruletly to animals so people can do what ever they want to animals, when i can when i see a animal in need i'll help but for now i have a full house with animals and my mom won't let me take in any more orphaned or hurt animals.

It is like child abuse in a way. They can't fight back, most of the time. It really is possible for a lion to be completely defenseless when a person has a gun. I'm too lazy to go too into it, but I'm completely against animal cruelty, as I think most people should be. It's not fair for the animal. The world is full of low lives that should be punished properly. I think any good citizen who demands justice and an animal loving person will for example protect a little puppy from a bunch of Koreans who just sailed in. If you see they wanna cock a puppy that’s locked up in small metal cage just bash their skulls and when their on the ground while squirming in pain just pick up their red hot firing pan an shove it in their face a few times. It does wonders let me tell you. Mmmmmm burned Korean faces. Crispy!

Like I said people need to be punished properly. So that they would never forget about their clearly visible scars and be a warning to others. That includes animal cruelty. And when you see animals get hurt. Act. Don’t just stand or sit there. People talk a lot but they do very little about it. That's what I think.

I'm against animal cruelty, as are most people. Like Pengin said, they can't fight back. I understand discipline, but that has it's limits. That's not beating them senselessly because you want to. If you have an animal, you should take care of it. It's still a life, though it may not be human. They deserve to be punished severely if the animal is harmed, harmed to the point it must be put down, or they killed the animal all together.

The UK gives more money to animal charities than it does to human ones. That said, I was watching a program the other night about police dogs and it showed a bit of footage of some people making dogs fight each other in the street, then they started to kick them to get them apart. I think it's absolutely horrible how some people treat animals- unlike some humans they can love you unconditionally.
