Computer vs Labtop

I'm sorry if their is already a thread about this so if their is I am sorry.
Anyways what would you rather use to go on the internet. A computer or a labtop. I would probally choose a labtop cause I can use it in my free classes at school.

A desktop computer, definitely. I don't like laptops all that much. I can do more on a desktop than I can on a laptop and I hate how close the keyboard is to the screen ><

Laptop definitely.

It's easy to use and it has all of the programs that a PC can have.

I use a laptop,but Computers are much better.They store more info,and they are more water resistant.{I know}.Plus,they have better quality audio.My computer had more high def quality than the laptop.

I have seen far too many faults with laptops that I needn't bother with one. In most cases I rely on regular computers more because you can usually access more pages and programmes all at once without melting the thing and also they can stay in power longer. Another thing is that their is not the worry of having to place it somewhere which does not block the heat from being released like on a bed or something. My PC is as good as ever and has not let me down once as of yet. I am proud of it.

Desktop PC. Not only is my laptop quite antiquated, it's peripherals are quite atrocious.

Laptops are a strange concept to me that I just declair as witchcraft, I like my computers big, and hard to move, to me, it feels alot more sturdier and it wont break.

Also, as a gamer, PC Desktops are better, easier to upgrade and more parts avaliable.

Depends on what I want to use it for. I prefer my laptop when it comes to just doing work or forum/chat things. As for gaming, I prefer desktop PCs.

Though laptops are portable, I prefer desktops, simply because of the keyboard >.<;;; When I'm playing PC RPGs, I hate the keypads on the laptop, I like desktop keyboards better ^^ Mobile units drive me crazy T_T

There's almost no contest here. Desktops are a lot better in my opinion, despite their lack of mobility. They tend to be faster, have better audio, have more hard-disk space, be more durable, and more parts are replaceable on them. Also personally, their screens are easier on my eyes.

And desktop computers, most definitely. Though laptops are smaller and compact, a computer can hold more systems.

I prefer desktop computers. They have more hard drive space, parts are easier to replace, and they're a lot better for gaming. I really despise the mouse and keyboard for laptops. >< But laptops do come in handy for college and when on vacation, which is the only time I'll use one. =P

I'm using a desktop at the moment, but I was previously on a laptop until it died. It was old. (R.I.P., lappy)

I like this one because it has way more power and memory. But I definitely miss the mobility. I could go all over the house, lay or sit on the floor. Now I'm stuck in one spot. Starting to think I should have gotten a laptop with the same amount of memory, but it would have cost way too much.

I dislike lappys so it's a desktop for me. But if I'd ever got my hands on a good laptop for free, hell yeah. :]

Laptop. D: Like it was designed to, I can take it anywhere, it's light weight (enough to put it in a bag), and I can leave it on w/out my mom getting mad about it on. Since she can't really tell, plus she barely goes into my room. Another good thing about it. :3
Though I do love the desktop, I have a small room and its filled with junk and art supplies. No room for a desktop. D:

Well, a desktop PC can hold all of these programmes naturally, and more. Yes, a Laptop can hold a lot of the main programmes and installations, but one can hold more files and programmes in a desktop PC than a Laptop could ever hope to, downloaded from the internet or no. This is another reason that I would much prefer a desktop PC, because of the space it has and the limit of the things that one can hold on it..without, ofcourse, it either becoming extremely slow or overheating.
