Quick Question...
How do I view AF from a mobile device without seeing in mobile format? It frustrates me that I can't do anything (rep, see/change pics, ect...) except reply to and post threads. I feel bad about receiving reps and not being able to return them.
I've actually been having the same problem and have tried to figure it out but I don't think its possible. I have figured out how to get to blogs and my user cp though. Also, I can play the Kadan RPG.

Sorry, as far as I know you cannot access small icons such as the reputation one from a mobile devise. I do not think you can make it so it is any other format either. That is how it is when I try and go on here with my PSP, but that is rare as I have my own PC anyway. Sorry, that is all I know.

This just a bit annoying. I can change the format on every other site that I go on. Like fb, ms, blogs, email. They all have a link to switch between mobile or the regular.
Oh well. AF isn't your average site anyways. Lol. (I mean that in a good way. ;D)

How can you see icons on such a small apparatus?You must eat alot of carrots.It would look better on an iPhone even though it's feces.As for doing it I would use a stylus if it's a touch screen phone.
It's an iTouch. You can zoom in and see the small icons.
But i wasn't saying that it *had* to be in regular format. I just meant that for mobile devices, like the Apple products or PSP or PalmPilots, there could be an option as to whether or not you wanted to view the site in mobile format.
I've actually been on another forum with my itouch and I can view it normally because it doesn't have the mobile version...so I think because AF has the option of mobile version, our itouches automatically choose that.Originally Posted by erised_lily

When entering the URL into the mobile device, enter "http://www.animeforum.com/index.php?styleid=1", and that will make it show as the default AF skin (Blue and yellow).

No, that wouldn't work... I'll see if I can figure out a work-around for the touch, but the issue is that we're using a hack to display the mobile style, which tries to auto-target all portable devices, and I don't think the author of the hack created any way of reverting it. I'll look into it tho'
