What's one thing you hate about anime/manga?

Some things are often repeating... Like, certain words used for some example... OK, this sounds pointless xD But for example, in DN Manga L constantly uses the term "guinea pig". I find that a bit annoying. >.< And yes, the prices. Tho I can afford it, it still makes me angry that I have to spend that much money to watch it.

I know manga is relatively cheap but for someone with no money, it's too expensive. I don't even look at DVD prices anymore. They depress me. Perhaps the complaints will lessen when I get a j-o-b.

Also, I know it's not the anime/manga creator's fault, but the no-life-other-than-anime/manga fans kind of make me uncomfortable. The blind discipleship of pre-adolescents is disconcerting.

And mostly the lack of creativity nowadays. I find myself seeing the same plot repeated, just different characters. Makes me itch.

I don't like the fact that parents are always killed off before the series begins. Is anime really more exciting without parents?

Mostly, prices. -.- Rarely I find some character annoying. Maybe some way-too commercialized series.

I hate those bridges in translation. How there seem to be so many different ways to translate manga (or anime). I mean, Shoujo Beat/Shounen Jump always (I think) translate everything (like -san, the reversal of names, etc), while other translators (like in Fruits Basket) leave the honourifics and everything else... It's quite annoying. Plus, some great manga can be made to look pretty stupid with a different translation (like the Naruto manga... As far as I've read, anyways. Don't get me wrong, I like the Naruto manga, but some of the things the characters say once in awhile are so... Stupid. The way it's worded, I mean).

And I love Naruto and Death Note, but I also love other anime :/
