how do you cope with stress?

I'm too much of a relaxed individual to get stressed. But in the rare cases that I am I just do what I do when I am bored and have a nap whilst listening to music. I wake up and get on with what I originally planned afterwards.

As I am doing right now, I cope with stress at the bottom of a bottle .. Like all good Nova Scotians.

Alcohol is just a temporary sourse in drowning your sorrows and stress and can often make things worse, especially if you are to awaken with a terrible hangover the next day.

I usually put on my mp3 player and take a walk outside. Or I draw. Otherwise nothing else really works. That breathing technique stuff just makes me more stressed, and mad because people say it works...when it doesn't help me. -_-

same for me. music, walking, writing or sketching would do. I don't even think about doing the breathing technique stuff when I'm stressed. Although I end up drawing for an entire day instead of doing my homework..><

i listen to loud music. or just sit and boil for about an hour then i'm fine. but that's when i'm angry, i don't worry about things.

I usually try to talk with someone, but that's hardly ever since my friends are usually busy. Then I either eat, play videogames, yell at trees, or punch the wall. And if any of these things don't work, I just lie down and cry for a while.

Im quite commonly stressed out. I find the best way for me to blow off steam is to take a baseball bat and beat something, usually a tree of bust up old electronics. I was lucky for a while, my brother had got in a car crash and we had his smashed up car in our driveway. My brother was OK, but his car was in far, far worse condition after I got done with it after I had a very very bad day at work.

i so do not cope with stress that well...the worst i can do is cry in my room when im under my bed covers all alone.
i will usually try to listen to music, read, play games.

Er ..I don't exactly believe in 'stress' ...But if I did, I would probably just chill for a second, and do things by step .. Or listen to music while doing it, or just go to a peaceful surface ..

I become wthdrawn and sulk for about twenty minute, then lash out at those around me (incuding, on occasion, the poor souls here on AF) for maybe five minutes, sleep for as long as I please and then wake up refreshed. Ah!

Usually, I'll get my iPod and go on a long walk/run. That gives me time to think through everything and walking outside makes me feel better. But if the stress gets too bad, I've been known to do some less healthy and self-destructive things.

i deal with stress by getting mood swings, too. then i try to clear my head and relax after the stressful point in my life is over.

I have 3 methods of stress relief. 1-Strpi myself nude and go prancing through the streets screaming "Were off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz! Tra-lala-lala-lala-lalalalalalalala!" 2-I dress as Willy Wonka and go to the fruit fields in California, imagining the workers I yell at to be my Oompa-Loompas. 3-I chase down teh ice cream man screaming my head off. Sometimes I yell threats, too.

I relax and calm myself, look at the positives and negatives of the situation, and remember that there are people who have it worse than myself. Also, sometimes I just sleep, play a video game, clean, or even come to AF.

I don't really get stressed. I work in a really relaxed place and the general pace here is slow and relaxed. I suppose on the few occasions I've been stressed I go for a walk to the river or through the local countryside.

I'm always stressed and when I am, I get snappy and moody. So, to calm myself I take a deep breathe and dial Mikeyy's number. Then I let it all out until he tells me to have a KitKat Chunky [Have a break] or something.
Actually, when I'm stressed, I usually listen to music [soul, they're very calming] and eat my favorite junk food and fall asleep. Who knows how it'd turn out the next day.

well when i get stressed i usually go insane and yell and screem or i luagh my head off.To cope with the stress i usually watch Horatio Hornblower one of the movies in the series..or all 8 movies that are like 100 minutes each if im really stressed but if its only a little i breath in in out till i pass out XD.

i don't get stressed infact it annoys alot of people becuase they try make me angry and like pfffft meh meh , and their like well BLAH BLAH and im like pfffffft meh meh and then i walk away and there like was that robot
