Persona 4 is set to release December 9th. Yes. Very yes.
This release will come with a bonus soundtrack CD, which is totally awesome because if the intro is any indication (see below) it will be in-the-car-on-the-way-to-work worthy. The game releases in Japan in 5 days, so we'll have more information about the game soon. Word on the street is that some changes include having control over all 4 party members and replacing Wait with Defend, along with a new way to summoning personas (no more evoker, it's all about crushing cards now). The game also takes place in a rural town, as opposed to 3's urban setting.
; it'll have to tide you over until December (unless you import... if so, I hate you).

December 9?! AH NOOOO! Thats too long of a wait! I can't wait to play it especially when I saw the trailer! You were right about what you said about the game although I don't know if it is allowed to control all 4 characs. BUt I like it the way it is, it's a good challenge. You really have to consider what your teammates are goin to do.
Wait, the game releases in Japan in five days?! alright! *heading to the phone to call Ken* I have a Japanese friend, I hope he's planning to visit his hometown! He lives near me.
Truth is a thing which only appears to those who have observed, considered, and made a choice. At the end of the path you chose lies the truth...Believe in it and continue without faltering.
This came in the Atlus newsletter. I spy a weather marker where the moon phases used to be~ I wonder if the weather will have an affect on the shadows like the moon did... The town looks really cool, and is it just me or is the camera at a different angle than Persona 3? Looks a lot more over-the-shoulder.
I wonder if they'll go back to the old Persona 1 and Persona 2 style? And let the game be a bit less constricting like 3.
Persona 3 was far too boring personally, hopefully 4 will be a bit more livelier than "Crawl Dungeon. Go to school. Social link/increase stat. Sleep/Dungeon Crawl. Ad Infinitum."
Official website is up. It has a new trailer on it, and a bit about the story and main character. Not much information yet, though.
The game will definitely be from the P3 forumula; you can see S.Links ranking up in the trailer.
