Social Life?

I was wondering, there are lots of members here on AF and I was curious of my fellow members social lives. Would you all say you have a nice flourishing social life OUTSIDE of the internet and house? Or is this it? (Animeforum, anime, manga, and video games)

What is this crazy thing called a social life? This sounds like a spooky thing. I don't like it.

Anyway, i don't really have on. My life is pretty much controlled by my parents and they do not really allow me to do stuff so yeah it sucks and all, but hell at least i get to work. Work i guess would be my closest thing to a social life.

I go to the mall with my high school friends during the weekends and holidays, but the rest of the time at home is spent on here, talking to *Ninna* ~ Hatake and my other friends.

...I have a pretty alright social life, it's filled with team sports, movie adventures, dodgy restaurant stories, pub antics, wagamamas & gellato and DDR!

Social life? Yeah, I go out with my friends when I have time. I go the mall and stuff. I'm not chained to my house or computer. I always go out of the house to see if there's anything exciting. Being stuck at home can be boring.

Well yeah, I have a social life. I go out with my friends ever so often. Not really every weekend, but every second or third. I have friends coming over and sleepovers, we go to places together or just hang out in the neighborhood. I don't spend that much time around here... Well, at least not that much as before xD And now during the summer I'm out almost every day. ^^ Today I'm going to the 80's party at this club, I can't wait; it'll be a blast =D Anyway, being on the computer all the time is just too much for me. If I'm not chatting on Msn or watching something, I can't spend more than two or three hours online. I just don't know what to do anymore!

Eh, my life offline mostly conisists of work and school. Occasionally my friends and I will have a hang out, but that's usually when we're supposed to be studying. XD

I thought you go to jail for that Mini. And I have a social life, but I don't care for most of my friends [ they're not really my friends. they follow my best friend everywhere.] And my best friend is locked up inside because of his parents. And that's much it.

It's okay I guess. It's probably small by some people's standards, but it's as big as I can manage. I've tried being more social than I am, but then I burn out and sit alone hating people for a month before I can stand being around people again.

I've invented this measurement for how many people you know. Navigating through the average crowd with people you know (be it a pub, college cafeteria, whatever), how many minutes per "hey!" do you get?

I've got crazy peak figures of 1/2 minutes per hey!, but usually it's around 5 minutes per hey!

My social life is like any others. I have college where I have lots of friends, I still keep in contact with school friends.
I am garunteed to leave my house atleast once a day to either; take a walk, do shopping, see friends, go out with family, and whatever else may come up. I just have a normal average one it would seem. I always seem to befriend everyone that I meet properly, I suppose I am just easy to talk to.

Yes, you read it correct. I am an Otaku with lots of friends. Surely their is no life that could be better than that. XD

I aint one to organise stuff but if somethin is organised by my m8s then i will usually go...so i suppose it isnt flourishing but i dnt mind...i hav no problems wit doin something wit friends maybe once a week and rest of time jus lazing around

I don't have many friends, but the ones that I do have I'm usually doing something with around five days a week. But, I like being alone a lot, so I'd be fine even if I didn't spend so much time with them.

Most naturally I have a social life. I go out with friends quite often. AF is a placeholder for action, in a way. I'm usually on AF when I'm at home with nothing to do OR during my break between classes (I'm only taking 2 classes this summer and there's an hour-and-a-half break between them) if I don't feel like getting ahead on my homework.

Yah, i have a lot of friends outside of the Internet. i go outside every once and a while if im not watching Anime or when my parents kick me out for being on my laptop too long, xD.

I don't really have a social life actually. I only have about six or five people's numbers on my phone, and I text message three people at one time. It's really terrible actually.

If I count, I only have about five friends or seven.... it makes me feel terrible. I never talk, and I want to change and I can't.
And my fashion choices are weird.

when i first came here, april 3rd 2006, as i have said many times before, i was awful. just a fat, lonely, jobless kid. lol. i stayed logged in here for 14 hours a day during the summer.


but..actually..and ironically enough...AF helped me be more confident and willing to work on my health and social life. o.o

it was strange...

i was even worse before AF. but AF made me feel like there were people in this world who could vibe with me; like i could make people laugh and be found engaging. and that translated to offline. somehow. xD i knew i stood out and had something to offer.

these days, i work a lot. tend to hang out at the mall sometimes with my cell phone in tow. call people and go out more. be more open and talkative.

i dont go to any parties or anything aside for a college bash i once attended..but i will, soon enough. xD

hm. my work place is where i am most social tho. ive gotten to know customers by name and face. i give them dap or hang with them after work.

but yes. i am still an AF freak. if i wanted to currently, i could be in chat all day. its not hard to be. and i am on msn a good deal, as well as myspace.

but you dont see me nearly as much. :P

yeah i used to go out alot and hangout play pool and bowling but not that much as of now seeing as i have a disability now

Not really. Im an anime nerd so the only people I really hang out with are other anime nerds and sometimes emos xD Occasionally I go over to a friends house to hang out or spend the night, and I talk with at least two people on the phone everyday but otherwise I mostly like to keep to myself.
