Anime Habits: Have You Picked Up Any?

Ok, we all take something from our fav characters. Like right now, I'm sitting in a computer chair with my knees bent to my face and biting my thumb nail while my dial-up loads. I'd be eating sweets if it wasn't almost dinner. This obviously comes from L.

Anyone else have habits like these? Finnish your scentences with dattebayo/beleive it? Bite your nails? Talk like a certain character? Behave like a certain character? Get's on my sisters nerves, but I'm a walking talking L-Gaara.

I dunno about anime habits, but my friends do say my reactions are very "anime"-ish.

oh, and sometimes I walk like Ed from Cowboy Bebop, depending on my mood.

I dont think I do. Maybe I do. I always do the para-para dance at the most randomest moments. I got it from Super GALS!

Well, I don't know if this counts but I always have my thumb in my mouth like L. XD Nothing else I can think of though.

I just finished the Hana Yori Dango anime recently, and all of the characters constantly use the word, "Sugoi!" it's become my replacement word for "Wow!" and the like.

Also, I just barely stopped myself from saying "Oro?!?!" when someone nearly ran into me today haha

When I was younger, I used to try to imitate anime and video game characters. (Not anymore, thankfully) At one point when I first discovered Grandia, I use to imitate Justin and try to put my arms up over my head like he does.(see my avatar, it's in one of the frames ) But I would always nearly fall over because it's so unnatural and uncomfortable. It's funny how a lot of things characters do you would never see these mannerisms in real life, just because they're so weird or impossible! For example, nobody really talks with one eye or both eyes closed!

Now that you mentioned it... I've noticed that alot of the male anime characters like to rest their hands behind their heads like when they're thinking, listening, or something like that. And now that I think about it... I do that! O.O

Not everyone picks up habits, some people do because they think a certian thing is cool. Imitation is the sincerest (<sp?) form of flattering. I grow out of them quite quicKly anyway. Still, I have to keep myself from sitting like L at the dinner table. Eh...that would be akward! Oh, and the "I'm angry right now" Gaara glare scares people...-_-

Acting like L is not a shameful thing. He rocks! I sit like Inuyasha, too, sometimes. No bow to Light, Light is crazy. Light got PWNED and you know it! Hug L, he's the best. Light keeled L, and I will never forgive him for that. But I wish I could pick up his laughing habits they make me giggle! P.S., my backseat driving best friend loves your sig. Enh...!

I find myself sitting like L sometimes. I don't think about it, I just do it. Then I realize what I'm doing when the blood in my legs isn't going anywhere and I change positions.
