Guitar Hero Question
Okay, so I have never played Guitar Hero before, but I am considering getting one. I have two questions, is it worth buying? and if so, which game is the best to buy?

GH2, I guess. It's generally acclaimed to be the best.
Alternatively, get the Rock Band stand-alone game and a guitar. Rock Band is slightly easier the GH, the controller is better, and the soundtrack is great. Then, if you like it, you can buy the rest of the controllers, assemble your friends, and go on a quest for world domination.
Ehhh, I dunno if I'll stick around. We'll see.

In my opinion, Guitar Hero 2 has the best soundtrack. So I'd say your better off buying that or Rock Band which also has an ok soundtrack.

yes, definitely. gh2 is the best choice. better known songs on that. also easier hammer ons for that game. if you want a good deal buy the gh1 and gh2 pack. you dont get the guitar but you can have both games...
hm, i went to gamestop and they told me about a new guitar hero game that is supposedly coming out in august. do you think it is worth it to reserve the game?

No. If you are going to wait for the new one, just get Rock Band instead. GH changed developers between 2 and 3, and most people regard the new blokes as inept at best. If you want the whole story, I wrote it out for someone in the Guitar Hero 4 thread.

I would say dont wast your money. They have already confermed the development of Guitar Hero 4 and trust me I doubt its going to be any bit of an improvement. These games are a fad, just like light gun games and console versions of DDR. They arnt going to continue for long. Spend your money on a good game like GTA4, God of War 3 (When it comes out), or MGS4.
