I enjoyed the movie but i found the ending a little dissapointing i mean the whole show is about alchamy and now they cant even use it anymore...that kinda put me down but over all not a bad movie

IT WAS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!i love fma. but the ending did upset me a lil. at least the elric brothers are together tho..and al got his memorys back..yay. edwards tall too now. all in all an awsome movie, as is the show. i love it.

Well, they were probably trying to tie up the story line.

Or maybe they are going to make another series, about trying to use alchemy or something?

It was alright, the ending was awful though, the fighting scenes were pretty epic, and it was all put together well.

The movie was good and I liked the battles on it but I did not like the ending, but overall a good movie.

The whole movie itself was awesome and incredible. But... the ending killed it. Really. Even though they end up together, it really sucks that they can't use alchemy. Not to mention they're completely alone in that world. No family or anything.

All good thing come to an end and that ending really ended Full Metal Alchemist. Its sad to see such a good anime end so crappy like that... well at least they didn't kill the main characters or somthing

I don't know but I foresee a difficult future in that unknown world they're in. But then, those two are able to adapt very well to circumstances.

The reason Ed and Al can't use alchemy anymore is basically because the directors or whoever involved didn't want people making remakes of FMA. That's why some animes generally have such harsh endings. Like maybe Lost Universe and others.

But otherwise, I had a great time watching that movie. It's like the 52nd episode of the series. It's very sad the way Hughes' family dies though. Al seems desparate to bring them back but Ed has other ideas...

I love the movie... it makes me cry... and laugh ... and get mad for the ending ... Was great that Ed & Al stays together but... the director i mean Seiji Mizushima ....really has to did that???... Cut off the Al's pony tail ... he is looking great with pony tail just like his older Brother Ed .
I agree with you guys ... they are together in our world ... but disable to use alchemy anymore... and Edward gets tall because of the equivalent exchange .... (remember that in the anime he was growing few centimenters everytime winry checked his automail she said to him that Edward: you still growing like that your right arm and your left leg are going to be short in few days.... something like that i guess)well ... I hope someday we have some news about Fullmetal Alchemist like a new movie ... I really hope this because I want them back to Ametris

I've watched the movie 11-13 times. O_O It's no big deal getting over-excited about it. The movie production was excellent, but it's kinda disappointing to watch Ed and Al not returning to their own world. It really cuts me off. T_T

The ending made me sad cause al got seperated and now he can't use alchemy...which is a bummer. But I did enjoy the movie. It's at least worth a rental.
