Which do you guys think is better? Personally, I think PC gaming is better, but it's too expensive to maintain a good system, especially if you can't even work yet -_-. If I had the money, I would stick to PC gaming. What do you guys think?

Console for the win. Even though some parts were adopted from the P.C. such as chips, and wires. However, there are certain requirements to play on the P.C. like Assassins Creed, and you have to go through chip installment into your processor and P.C. processor like the VisionTek - ATI RADEON HD3870 OC 512MB GDDR4 PCI Express Graphics Card, which costs a lot just to play a video game when already purchased a video game, but Nivida helps with your requirements through your processor.
I would just buy a certain game; Like certain individuals do on there spare time, and just pop in the game inside the disc tray and the laser will search the wide variety of information, and bam. Game approval. Or "Disc read Error". xD. However, I am a big console fan like Wii, and Xbox 360 with it's awesome intergrated graphics system. ^_^
Why should I have to choose?
Ehhh, I dunno if I'll stick around. We'll see.

I prefer console because there aren't that many games that interest me on PC. Also with a console I can sprawl out on my couch, but with PC I'm restricted to my computer chair.
Though I wanna buy a Wii and maybe a PS3 eventually, I prefer PC gaming too. The console world is changing too rapidly. It feels like it was just yesterday when the PS2 came out and suddenly we get the PS3, which is even asking us to upgrade our TVs. It costs way more than a PC. I mean, a brand new PS3 costs more than an awesome game-type platform PC in our country (excluding monitor).
There's also obviously more games written for the PC, with a wide range from simple, casual Flash games to elaborate first-person shooters and open-ended RPGs. Many console games are also being ported to PC as well.

In case any of you want to correct, question, comment on, or suggest anything to me regarding my translations or use of Japanese, please do. My sources of learning have all been listening to people and kinda forcing my brain to interpret, rather than actually translate like a dictionary. I understand I'll make many mistakes (I'd be surprised if I translate something mistake-free) but you have to understand that I'm doing my best.
Well, not here. I have a $300 HD TV hooked to a $400 PS3. A PC that would play anything new (and probably not even Crysis) would cost about $1000 to build minus Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, External Speakers to build.
Also, the Playstation 2 was released eight years ago. A new console every six years isn't unreasonable, it's not as though keeping a PC up to date for gaming over six years wouldn't cost many more times as much.

im gonna go with console. theres more games on consoles that i like, plus my computers useless anyway. i would get a new one if i had the money, but i probably still wouldnt play games on it
Console by FAR!!!
So much more simple and easier. I would much rather sit on a coach whilst playing a game than I would just tapping keys staring at a small monitor.
Plus, we have a plasma with surround so that just makes it all the more better. XD

I believe that the definitive answer to this subject is that there is no answer. PCs and consoles cater for different needs, and it's impossible to outright say which is the best. It's like trying to decide which is better between pirates and ninjas. There is no overall winner.
Sure, PCs and consoles are better for certain games than others. PCs are better for FPSs, RTSs, certain adventure games (point & click mostly, have you ever tried playing Discworld Noir on a PS without a PS Mouse?), space sims, etc. Consoles are better for racing, TPSs, Fighting, certain RPGs (the ability to mod some RPGs like Morrowind and Fallout wins here), etc.
Going back to the pirate vs ninja argument, pirates are better at charging right in and slaughtering almost everything in a quick raid. Ninjas are better at avoiding detection and quietly killing their target. But as long as the end result is achieved (i.e. something dies), then it doesn't matter. In the PC vs console debate, the end result is that you are entertained.
In the end, I see this similar to the console wars, the PC vs Mac debate, the pirates vs ninjas arguments, etc. - a futile urinating contest.
Of course, you don't have to choose, you could always use both. You get the best of both worlds.

Shooters is meant to be played at PC but other kinda games is meant to be played at concole =P... not mmo tho xD
I'm a console gamer sometimes I'll play PC games but its become pretty rare since I got some console. Not to mention we have a big screen tv which is way better for console gaming. That and I do play video games in strange positions like lying on my back on the bed watching the screen upside down or half on the couch, half not.
I prefer playing console games but then I know a lot of people who greatly prefer playing shoot 'em ups on the PC, so I dunno. It probably depends on the needs of the individual and what they grew up with so to speak. You probably couldnt get an RTS to work so well on a console (I find PC version to be that bit easier cos of the mouse).
'Depends' I guess is the answer. Although PCs fail at platform games. I hated PC Rayman with a passion.
I've always found pc to be best for RTS and MMO, otherwise the console is the way to go. Mouse to aim in shooters is just to easy, and not at all realistic, having at least an 11.0 kdr in CS got boring fast. Console controllers feel way better for shooters, flying and racing; and for some reason RPG's are done better on consoles. So for me it'll be Console as my official answer.

PC used to be better. But nowadays, titles are riddled with obtrusive DRM that sends information about you and your computer to the game maker and ensures that you only can install the game a fixed number of times (something like 3 times). It's ridiculous.
It's changed from Console is retarded but PC is good, to both console and PC are retarded. Congratulations game makers. You broke gaming as a whole. I'm going back to reading books.

Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
Console! The PC is so retarded for gaming. I mean, I don't want to be cramped up at a desk for gaming. I wanna lay down or be RELAXED. Not in between a wall and a desk! And console is easier, cheaper, and A LOT better.
Are you some gaming deity? You don't play PC games in a cubicle, you play them in a reclining leather chair with in-built speakers. Oh and consoles arn't cheaper, my PC is up to modern standards and is half, HALF the price of a PS3, cause I built it myself.
This is the reason why I don't like consoles, the fan boys are all just plain ignorant. At least us PC fan boys are ignorant but funny.
Well, going by the prices I tended to find when I was looking into building a PC, I could probably get a decent graphics card for half the price of a PS3. Maybe a DVD drive too. But that's about it.
There is a reason people buy a half dozen PS3's, and then Beowulf Cluster them into a supercomputer. It's because they are far cheaper then anything of comperable power.

I prefer console. I've tried PC and couldn't get the hang of it, I even got a controller to hook up to it. I just like console games more. ^^
I like console gaming. Can't afford a good computer for the games on it and thus will not spend on an unnecessary thing. I'm good like that...
I prefer console gaming. :3
>:B!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Console has got my vote.
Console gaming!!
