For some oddly reason, there is a site that generally puts animeforum's stats and even ranks us by traffic details. It kinda looks like a stock market to me.

It's based on this site:

You're misinterpreting the statistics. The lower traffic rank, the more visitors. Essentially, as I understand it, what the page does is rank all the websites on the internets. So, a traffic rank of 9,070 means AF is the 9070th biggest site in the US.

Are you going by the "Animeforum.com traffic rank in other countries:" column? Because if so, Traffic Rank increases as page views decrease. It's a rank not a score. Yahoo, the most visited site on the Internets, has a rank of 1 and then Google, the next most visited site, has a rank of 2. And so on.

Plus you couldn't quite say that British people represented more traffic even AF was ranked higher, because it is a rank and not a traffic percentage. If 3 people in Iceland had PCs, and 2 of them mostly surfed NaughtyZoo.com*, NaughtyZoo.com would be Iceland's #1 ranked site, even though it represents a very small percentage of the Internet's traffic.

*-I don't know if that's a site or not and I'm not going to find out.

Whoa, the biggest spike in the traffic history graph was between Jan and Feb Wow, 44.3% in the US And barely anything in other places 0.0 Nice site!! Btw, I do remember a lot of new members joining, particularly in those months 0_o;

Google is a major website. Whenever a teacher says "Research [So and So] on the internet", the first site they go on is Google. And although Dogpile is all of the search engines, including Google, piled into one (yes, the slogan XD), people still prefer to go on Google. T'is just simple.

On the contrary. But remember, most students these days use the Google search bar to get to Wikipedia. Either way, Google wins. XD

I myself tend to gather information from many different sites so that I know the information that I gather has a bigger chance of being correct.
