ha ha if i had dropped something that i had to eat, 5 seconds or not i'm eating it!
especially if i'm really hungry too i mean, my money had spent for it so it shouldn't go down the drain.

Nope... I don't even eat it if it fell on the table...

ha ha if i had something to eat and it fell on the ground i'm picking it up and eating it, i don't really care, anyway no matter how hard you try you can't escape germs THER'E EVERYWHERE. besides it's my money spent for it so i shouldn't waste it
Why not.? I mean millions of people starving to eat and you pass it/waste it because it got dirty? Bet those starving people would eat it.. <.<
Only if it was cake... chocolate cake!
There is no 5 second rule as far as I go. It falls on the floor, it goes in the trash. >.>

It's just psychology. The truth is that you'll survive the germs that inevitably gets on the food, unless you dropped it in a septic tank or some other unsuitable place.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
Ew, no.

Germs are good for the body, so probably yeah XD
The more germs you intake, the more able your body will be to deal with them. Our devotion to anti-bacterial stuff will only serve to weaken our immune systems.
Besides, im not wasting perfectly good pizza just cos it hit the deck..
hahah!!! nice thread!! XD
it usually depends on the situation. if im just at home then, i dont see any problem with it. but when i eat out, id rather not. ^^

That 5 second rule was perfectly fine when I was 5, even 10. But as an adult who knows about germs and how easily things can make you sick, foods that fall on the floor or ground get thrown out. However, like someone posted earlier I will make exceptions for washable food like fruit or veggies. But something like a slice of pizza... I just shake my head at the loss and throw it away.
Well to me it's pretty much simple for example......I eat non-stop, da 5 sec. rule applys 2 me well thats an excuse when ur friends look at you and say "ewwww" did u just eat dat off da floor. Yeah it's an excuse pretty much well dats my opinion. But it also depends on how sanitary the floor is, so if its dirty or real dirty i wont eat it. but if it was a chip on da carpet id probably eat, i hav problems ill eat pretty much everything. So don't ask me.

i gues it all depends, what it is, and where i dropped it
if i drop like m+ms on the floor i'll just wipe them and eat them O:
if its like bread with jam, and everything could be sticking to the jam >> i dont

Another contribution-yayness:
A sure place that I will eat anything that falls on the floor save sticky things is my room. ^_^ my cats are allowed in my closet and my bed, plus no sticky things > Big no-no for my room!
A thing I won't try to eat (drink actually) is a spilt drink. Kinda impossible unless you like..squeeze it out of my carpet...
That depends. Was the floor visibly dirty or clean and is the dirt visible on the food?
I normally don't eat something I drop but if its something like a breadstick that I can just wipe whatever off then maybe. And hotdogs, just wash it off, as long as it hadn't been cooked yet. xD
Also I have animals. So anything sticky will collect every little piece of hair even hair from a color of animal I don't even own! So yeah.. No sticky stuff.
cant believe this russ was still alive. (Hehe) Yeah", I believe on that countdown but once I've dropped the food it's over. This world had became stagnant and stingkEeeH! it may appear clean but the mop that was used to make it 'look' clean sure is duRrty; regardless of the knowledge it is being used by a first-class hotel.

Depends where/what I drop. -Usually- the 5 second rule applies to me. There are worse things attacking your body than a couple germs on a dropped piece of food *shrugs*
