I have a really old video game reactor vests, I hope it still works today on my current consoles xD probably not, but it's really cool though. I have played a shooting game with it, and it actually feels like I'm getting shot. I said to myself, "I feel so invicible with this vest, yet why do I get the feeling like I'm going to die from them shots?"

I remember what the brand was...it was called Reactor! The vest shakes or vibrates in the area to where you got hit. Too bad there's no video game leg set for it xD otherwise how can you feel getting shot in the leg xD

I think it's a niche market machine, I play video games to get shot and not feel pain. If I want pain, I'll go play paintball.

I saw that on tv a few months back. It just vibrates or applies pressure or something of that nature to wherever you get hit, like the rumble function of a game controller...it's not like you gotta hand wash it after every use to remove the blood.

Tell you what, try getting shot point blank with Simunition point blank, or at all for that matter - DaSOCOM can probably attest to that, and tell me how you feel afterwards. And as painful as that can be it's nothing to getting shot.

I really doubt that it can simulate the impact of a real bullet. If anything it's not any stronger than say... a automatic airsoft gun that fires at 300 FPS. Any higher would be too dangerous. Hell, 300 feet per second hurts enough from 100 feet away.

If you read the article, it does say 30 psi. That's enough that you'd feel it, but not enough to actually leave marks or anything.

It would be like resting a 30 lb cube that is only 1 inch cubed on your foot. I think a better example would be being punched by a friend that insists on punching you hard enough that it smarts, but not hard enough to end your friendship.

So, ask your friend to sit in the chair next to you with a damp towel and snap you with it every time you get shot, and you can save yourself the money.
