What do guys/girls want out of a girl?

So, what is it you want out of a girl? Not only personality wise, but also physically.
I'm more curious to see the physical results. I hear alot of guys say "Oh yeahhh, I want a real woman with some meat on her bones and curves", yet I see the same guys choose skinny, itsy-bitsy girls.

Well, I like skinny girls. I don't know what it is, I just do. I don't like anorexic girls, but I like girls who are just naturally skinny, like not even athletic, just thin. Like for instance my girlfriend now is basically perfect. Like, I can't think of anything I don't like about her. She has the cutest face, she has great fashion sense, she's very thin but like not athletic so she's kind of squishy which is adorable and she lacks the downfall that most skinny girl has which is lack of boobs. She however, has no such lack. In fact, for her size she has excess. Masali is happy. And no, girls with meat on their bones and curves is just a nice way of saying fat.

When looking at a girl I honestly don't care too much about looks. As long as they're not extremely chubby. o.O hopefully people know what I mean about that. I look more on personality on everyone. If they act just like me or similar (( Hyper, loud, fun-loving, sence of humor, nice, etc )) then that's more my type. I'm rather picky though, I may be lez but I don't fall for just any girl. Only a lucky couple. ^_^ Especially since nowadays not a whole lot of girls fit that description. I don't like preps. >.o

When i was younger i used to think it was mostly all about the looks but now i think personality should be there too. Yea to me she should be pretty but also someone kool to jus chill with, similar interests and accepts you for you.

Physically i dont care as long as shes cute/pretty and has personality above then thats all good with me.

Well, the typical male response will be, "I'd want a hot-[insert bad word here] girl that'll give me good[explicit]!!" But if ya ignore those guys then you ladies out there will see the "better" guys. What guys should really want out of a girl is mostly compatability, great personality, understanding, and honesty, not just for looks. Attraction is the "lure," and is more external, but should not determine whether or not that'll be your partner. And trust me, I'm in an all boys Carpentry class with no girls >_<(Darnit!!) so I know xD

Heh. I knew a girl like that. Unhealthiest chick I have ever met. She was skinny, yes, but she lived on junk food and had zero muscle tone ^^; She obtained the worst score in our phys ed fat/muscle ratio test.

I never understood how having curves came to mean someone with "meat on [their] bones." Thin girls can have curves too o.O

I may be straight, but I've noticed that the women I always seem to find most physically attractive are those who appear fit. Toned, lacking the "muffin top," and generally showing that complexion glow a healthy person always seems to have.

Fat girls need to stop describing themselves as "curvy" because not all fat girls are curvy and not all skinny girls are not curvy. In fact, when you get real fat your "curves" turn into rolls.

Tons of men love girls with some extra "meat on the bones" I don't think that term means fat at all, I love guys like that because it gives us girls a break from feeling like we have to have a perfect body all the time.

NEED to have short hair(can't stress that enough) preferably black , petite and slim but not anorexic, somewhat athletic, can't have a girl taller than me, either or on glasses, I don't care for big busts(B ftw!)

As far as looks, as long as the girl is healthy. Looks don't matter the most. The way they look usually gets augmented by what you think of the person.

wow, this is an unusual topic to have on af, let's see, in my 18 years of life i've figured that there are more types of people, i can't talk for all of them, i can just say about me
i'm a really tough guy to stand and understand and i can be very annoying,so the first thing i want is one that can stand tall through all my phases and moods, i don't want her to be a submissive person either, i want her to be able to be offensive and slap me back into reality when the situation calls for it. she must be reliable, i need to have someone to talk to, to confide in and ask for advice,of course, it goes the same way around, i'd like her to trust me and be able to share her problems with me. there is one physical thing though, i prefer the type of girl that's not really popular, preferably not blonde and with colorful make-up, i don't want her to stand out, because i don't stand out either.

PERFECT WOMAN in my opinion.

Slim, takes pride in her appearance(I do like business uniforms), black hair, not dyed, no tattoos or body piercings, tallish, maybe like 5 9 or something, and if I'm being a real pig, her breasts are just that little bit extra sized for her waist...I also think a pretty Asian is probably somewhat more attractive than a pretty Caucasian, but that's not really important.

That's just the perfect woman, other than that I think lots of girls have attractive features and some girls who don't match half of the things I just listed there still look great to me, so I'm really not too hard to please.

As far as personality goes, I think there's alot of different types of personalities that are good, it's allot harder to make an "ideal personality" up, but....
I like a girl who'll tell me her opinions on things, but in the end, I like to be in charge. I'd be incredibly impressed with her if she liked me kind of music, or maybe even anime or comics or something cool like that. And I don't really like incredibly loud and snobby girls, I'd much rather she found it easier to talk to me than everyone else.
