Nice BakaPink ^^ I freak them out, this happened once: My friend, Kayla was talking about this show nobody knew about, and I had to put an end to it! So, I said: "Oh yeah, remember when you said it exploded inside the television?!" Everybody looked at me. Especially 'Kayla.' "What?" she said. "Yeah! You said it came alive and the main charecter was eating dark chocolate!" I said. My other friend said: "Uh.. waa?" I nodded and said again: "Yeah! You said after that turtles were chasing you and your dog had two babies! I saw them yesterday and they were so cute!!"
Kayla was confused. She had one dog. But very old and desexed.. "Um.. I don't have any puppies.." She said. "Of course ya do! Oh wait. You didn't want me to tell anyone! My bad.. whoopsie!!" Everyone looked at Kayla and said "Aww! What puppies!" And then we talked about puppies the whole afternoon! Something I like ^^ Haha. Awesome? Huh!? Try it!!

I have a number of friends who're like that.

They keep yapping on away, and when they notice I'm shutting up and not really laughing, they jab me down the kidneys. I chase them and sit with someone else.


Either that or just take out a book and read. Though, to some cases, there will be a person who slams the book shut completely when the bookmark is in my pocket. I usually lol hard when someone does that.

I actually know someone like that. And he is so annoying. Because I'm fed up in telling him to shut up, the usual trick in making him shut up is just to plainly ignore him. Like he doesn't even exist.

i don't lie to them I usually tell then to shut the crap up, Pretneding anything other wise is pointless. JUst tell them you know, you would be surprised what people will do if you just tell them whats up.

True, but sheltering them from the truth won't help the problem. If what they say or do is that much of a problem or outright disturbing, it's better to say it to them (openly or to them privately) rather than let him/her live with everyone else rolling their eyes in secret whenever they converse.

My understanding of the OP was that it's just an annoyance. If it's disturbing, that might be different.
Regardless, it's a delicate situation. Some people don't mean anything by it and certainly don't mean to be annoying, I'm sure. You don't want to outright offend them if they didn't have bad intentions.

I don't have any friends like that. I have a very low boredom threshold, and incessant chattering is one thing that infuriates me. I used to know a woman that wouldn't stop talking, but we're no longer acquainted. The reason being that she drove me insane with her inane chattering, and now I avoid her like the plague. It's either avoid her, or hit her.

We've got a few regulars who come into the shop who are like that, just wanna talk about whatever.

What we do to get rid of them is have one of us call the shop on our mobile phone, so that the other one has to take the call. So one of us is one the work phone booking a fake appointment or whatever, and one of us is on the mobile having a fake conversation with the boss. They usually end up getting bored and saying goodbye. We've gotten that down to a fine art so it never looks suspicious.

last time hat happened, someone was talking to me and this guy i know came up and start talking to me and cut my mate off mid sentence. so we both blanked him he after 5 minutes of talking at us, he got the point and left.

Unfortunately, my mother is one of those people. u_u.. She'll just never shut up about what a great hair stylist this is or all these hair chemicals, blah blah blah, if I'm trapped in the car with her there's nothing I can really do but scream in my mind "SHUT UP I DON'T CARE!" When we're at home I usually just walk away. Unless I'm in a bad mood and do end up telling her to shut up.


As far as random people go who wont shut up, sometimes I'll pretend to be retarded, walk away, or I ask them to please shut the [insert swear here] up.

I have a friend like that. She never shuts the hell up. All she does is runs her mouth. I don't feel bad when I tell her to shut the hell up or when I tell her that she is geting on my nerves.
Whenever she starts running her mouth and it is too much for me to listen to I usually stare her down until she notices it.

Though she is entertaining to talk to most the time, when she calls me, it's impossible to hang up and if ya do, she calls back. x.x

We've talked for 5 hours straight and fell asleep on the phone =.=

Another was someone so annoying to talk to because of talking so much I pretend my phone is on silent when he calls.
